Dro’Zakar’s Claws:
This set now grants up to 129 Weapon Damage on its 5-piece bonus.
Decreased the Weapon Damage granted per Bleed on enemies to 103, down from 133.
Developer Comment:
Spoiler
These changes were done to make up for the fact that Axes no longer apply Bleed, and the addition of the Hemorrhaging Status Effect. With these adjustments, the set should now be far less swingy in performance and shine when specialized on Bleed builds with less variance on chance.
This set was hot garbage already. The addition of the baseline spell damage makes sense (but it does fail to account for builds that where using axedw/axe2h to stack more bleeds).
But the random -30 damage per bleed? This set was borderline viable at 200 per bleed when it was first introduced ont eh PTS, barely worth it when it got its first nerf to 150, and pure garbage at 133.
103 per bleed? What the f*** is that? If I go *all out* on a bleed build now, including the new baseline but remembering the axe bleeds are gone, I can get what, maybe 400-450 average wep damage from its 5pc bonus (optimistically, and assuming I nerf my build in the persuit of optimising bleed count). What was terrible is now worse than terrible. I dont understand the logic.
Set was interesting on the PTS, I had hopes one day might be worth even considering on live. Guess not.
