If it comes to dyes, then please in a limited palette of "natural colors". I don't want to see pink bears running around, pink armors are horrible enough.

We need skins for sorc pets also. I would use pets more if I could make them smaller and wingless. :)

OP, you have my full support.

I think skins are the way of the monetization future. People in general hate loot boxes even if cash whales keep them profitable. I have a frost Warden tank that would benefit from a Polar bear skin to keep the aesthetic I like.

They should also extend this to other classes. The NB's fear spell could get different totems. Their summoned shade could become different things.

I play my Dragonknight tank as an imperial dragon. I'd like to change up his Talons into chains to better fit that theme. His volatile armor spell could be changed to look more regal than earthen spikes.

Theres so much they could do with these reskins.

I think ZoS is afraid of backlash from non pet classes that only pet classes get customization. First of all, this is invalid, because pretty much everyone has at least one char of each class, so almost every player benefits from this.

Secondly, as someone who'll never play sorc but might play Warden if we get a polar bear, I'm begging you to let other pet classes customize their ugly, copy pasta pets!!!

So many resources wasted on reskinning non combat pets that literally no-one cares for. And something as essential as combat pets of 2/6 classes, so 1/3 of players active at any one time, is completely overlooked. We've had enough of aged textures from 6 years ago. New pet skins would sell greatly!

I'd rather see alternative animal skins for the warden's bear. For example tigers/lions, wolves, or maybe mini mammoths/elephants as examples.

I'm not suggesting the damage portion of the ultimate is changed, but I understand there maybe a need for some different animations.

Just looking for different appearances for my Warden's pet.

Considering the mechanisms for warden bear skins already exist...it's been really weird that nothing ever came of it. The Morrowind collector's edition included a gray skin for the bear and it's even under its own category in the Collections UI.
So...it's been a couple years and ZoS somehow hasn't had the green light to make new combat pet skins or something about how it's programmed is so effed that they choose not to offer more?

Also a "skin" for the other animals. No more ghost beetles, pterodactyls, or lazer squids! :)

Those are the only ones I like and which fit my Dunmer warden! I’m still salty that bears somehow got lumped with Morrowind even though they obviously have nothing to do with Vvardenfell! The guardian should have been a kagouti or something and the mount a guar or nix-ox.

But I’d be glad for more skills to have some customizability and especially summoned pets. However, the abilities would need to still be recognizable to other players.

Why not both? Some folks want sabertooth tigers, which seems awesome, but I want a Polar bear because my Warden is ice themed.

The person that wants a sabertooth will buy the sabertooth and I will buy the Polar bear.

Yeah, that's strange. I wonder why ZOS have not reskin warden/sorc pets so far. I understand it may be confusing if skill's name mismatch the pet's form, but "Twilight tormentor" is already mismatching npc tormentors and noone wants to fix it.

Race/zone/cultural themed pet/ability skins for classes? That'd be rad.

It would also be amusing if you don't just dye our bear/deadra, but can purchase new ones at a certain point. For TES IV there was the mod Cheydinal Petshop - so Warden and Sorcerers could recruit new animals, e.g. in the mages guild or a "pet shop".

I realize the benefit would be to one class only (two if we did sorc pets) but for things they should already have skins and models in the game for, I wish they offered more pet variety.

It's not like it costs the rest of us anything. Polar bears would be awesome, and what about all the skins they've used for bear mounts and pets? And if they're going to make us keep wading through clannfears and twilights at every market hub they could at least add some variety to them.

^ That will have to be taken into account. I suppose they could just disable the cosmetic in PVP, although that might be a little optimistic considering what we know of the game's coding.

Wardens and Sorcs should be able to have this option weather it's gold, crowns or a in game quest to change the skins. Also wardens need more that one pet model. We are wardens of the forest, not everyone cozys up to a bear. Maybe I would like a wolf, that matches my mount that matches my non combat pet. You know my own pack. Lol

I'm still looking for that Big wolf non-combat pet. I see 'em, but I don't know where they come from.

How about an sence for Khajiit? And other fitting pets.
Back at launch I wanted an clanfear mount for sorc , still think it would be fun.
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

    Why stop there?

What is actually needed is different animal skins, full stop. Why as a "beastmaster" should the Warden be tied to a bear? Why not a big cat, or a wolf etc.

And the same goes for most other "pets" across the classes. Why force Sorcs to use the almost universally agreed, ugly Matriarch etc, how much more enjoyable if multiple and varied reskins were available.

I will never understand why they made 1 alternate skin for the warden bear (meaning they also had to make the tech to change it and an additional Collections menu for it to sit in) and then never did anything else with it.

A polar bear isn't that interesting to me personally, but I'm in favour of anything which gets us more options because then it seems more likely ZOS would do options I would like.

Personally I'd like a wolf instead of a bear. It could have all the same abilities, stats etc. I just want it to look like a wolf to fit with the theme that my warden learned magic from the Wyresses, who summon wolves. A sabre cat would be nice too. But I'd settle for more colours of bears as a starting point.

I'd really love a way to change the Sorcerer's Twilight to something. Anything which doesn't constantly flap would be a vast improvement, but if it could be something largely stationary and much smaller that would be ideal.

Yep. At the very least, the ability to dye pets at the outfit station is years overdue. The ability to completely reskin them would be even better, but dyes would be something at least.

    ^^^ This!

I have wanted the ability to dye my mounts gear and pets for years!

    Please ZOS...

Give us the ability to make our mounts and pets looks as unique as (or at least match) our toons look!
