Dear ZOS please move the maintenance time for EU to the night.

Hello fine people,

Like the title says, it would be great if maintenance times could be moved. It's frankly annoying that it takes such a chunk out of playing time during the day.
It had probably been requested before but I'm asking once again.
Anyway love the game and can't wait for next patch to drop (hopefully during the night

PC/Mac: NA and EU megaservers for maintenance

Patched both at the same time, it's probably a lot easier to manage / roll out. I guess all they can do is make it slightly earlier. Either way it effects both zones.

Please don't. I play late not during the day when I work so maintenance during the day suits me as its not happening in my playing time.

You can't please everybody. For example the maintenance is fine for me since I'm at work between 10AM and 4PM CET when the maintenance happens. I prefer that over night hours since I more often play into the night than in work hours obviously. Just accept the times for what they are and try to do something else, few hours off your favourite game in every two weeks or so isn't really the end of the world.

This! For me also maintenance is during my work, but I often play at quite late hours. And I suspect that on EU servers population is spread quite evenly throughout the day, so there's no "good time" at all.

Oh, and why do you think they do it in their daytime??? Maybe, just maybe, because that's when the staff are working.....

While it is theoretically possible for simple maintenance, it is now impossible for the patch maintenance. There is only one client for both NA and EU.

Definitely a no, I play almost exclusively at night as its the only time I get to play so moving it to night would be a big no from me.

Whose day? No really. Because no matter when they take down the servers a significant portion of the player population is going to be inconvenienced by it. I imagine that this time slot is when it inconveniences the least number of players as most Europeans and Russians are at work and most of the American continent is asleep. Only people really affected is (unfortunately) those in Asia and Australia. Which yes sucks for them but someone was always going to be affected.

Okay so this is patently false as they've previously rolled out fixes for EU that wasn't applied to NA. So they can definitely run on two different clients.

It is possible to do server fixes separately. Patch maintenance is both server and client (and both should be the same version).

There were two different clients at launch (double the size on HDD). Now the client is one for both servers.

Server closing during event that supposed to drag people to play the game. I do not see how it is logical, but it is not the first event where they do it. I think, they just troll us on purpose - "do you want to play all days of an event and grab aaaal that sweet tickets to get aaaaal that sweet rewards, hu? HAHA YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO!" BAM! Server is down.

The event lasts for 12 days. The server was down for 3 hours. Oh the horror! Event ruined!
