Grinding and running Circles

Seriously,

I have absolutely no idea why i should grind my ass off to get as strong as possible even if the developers said, they want to have an quick entrance to the game, and the Gap between max cp and low cp should shrink.
It does shrink, true but you only get the max out of everything if u are maxed, does make sense right.
So why cant u just adjust the XP gain even more than u already did, because it isnt enough.
There are people out there on youtube, who recommend certain grinding builds, to have a "very fun time" after the patch launches.
I want to play the game itself, not grinding until i dont want to play the game anymore.

You actually can play the game without grinding. It just takes longer to be at max. level. Also you dont need 3600Cp to do vet trials.

I have also noticed people such as Alcast and other Content Creators have made recently "grind builds" in preparation for the new Oblivion chapter. I remember a few years ago WoW introduced a "brand new system" that was a heavy grind. Two years later, WoW introduced a expansion that basically hit the restart button.

While I am actually really excited for some of the changes to the champion point system, I fear the amount of grinding may not be the solution we are all hoping for but rather the beginning to a new process of doing things.

I don't really have any intention to grind.

Given that it is likely that they are going to write off a ludicrous amount of EXP from my account without so much as an 'I'm sorry you feel that way' I am not really inclined to burn myself doing something that I consider mind-numbing just for them to change the rules of the construct down the line and do it all over again.

I will see if I can adapt and carry on doing what I consider fun within the newly given parameters (if I can get over the levels of sodium that I am accumulating over the above mentioned matter it would seem that this might be feasible) but that's about it.

Tying myself to the grinding wheel is not adapting, is giving up all hope. Some people consider it a feat of mental endurance and thrive on such activities alas I am not one of them.

Don't grind unless that's something you enjoy (some people do!).

Just keep playing the game the way you enjoy and the XP will accumulate.

I have 1425 CP, all earned above the cap, so with a 50% penalty. Never earned a CP for less than 400k XP. And I play very casually. I do writs on 1.5 characters, and one other daily, then show up a couple of times a week for guild events/normal trials.

We'll all get to max CP eventually. No need to do something that will burn you out.

Who said " you should ? You can if you want to. But no one is forcing you to do it asap.

The new CP changes are there so you can maximize without having to grind. Individuals like Alcast with their grind builds sadly adhere to a more OCD type of play where you need to get everything. In a game as large as this doing so takes a ton of time and it's supposed to. MMORPGs are designed for long term play over years and years.

The XP curve is being adjusted again so that you get to the proper spot within the same amount of time as before. But please please don't try to grind to CP3600. It's a literal waste of time and you can do better things with time management in real life than trying to get to a level where the benefits fall far from the time investment costs.

People with 3600 CP should be awarded with some kind of zombie slayer title.
I used to think that PvP was a tragedy, but now I realize, it's a comedy.
