PTS Patch Notes v6.3.4

The Elder Scrolls Online v6.3.4 is our final PTS patch before launching on March 8 for PC/Mac and March 16 for consoles. We’ve adjusted the character templates to offer all 3600 Champion Points to aid in further testing of the new system, along with making additional fixes to the Champion System, dungeons, the Blackwood prologue quest, and more. The size of this final patch is approximately 121MB. We appreciate all the feedback that was provided the past few weeks!

For this patch, we’ve increased the Champion Points available on the Flames of Ambition (Maximum Level) character template to 3600.

Dungeons

• Black Drake Villa
  • General
    • The pledge quest will now correctly direct you where to go after defeating Captain Geminus.
    • Updated several damage effects throughout the dungeon to be correctly categorized as Area Effect damage, and others to be Damage over Time.
  • Captain Geminus
    • Geminus will no longer endlessly channel her flame ability while invulnerable on Normal difficulty.
    • The second attack of Fillet now correctly applies damage to all targets within range.
  • Pyroturge Encratis
    • Pyroturge Encratis will now use his Heartsfire Spear if he is not occupied and there are no targets available outside of the pit.
• The Cauldron
  • General
    • Your character will no longer be locked into the Exalted Summit if you enter while your pets are fighting Molten Pillars.
    • The Curtain of Fire achievement now correctly states how it is granted.
    • Updated Lyranth's Cold Fire damage effect to be correctly categorized as Area Effect damage.
  • Oxblood the Depraved
    • Deviant Consumption can no longer be dodged.

Achievements

• Moved the Flames of Ambition Achievement Category above the Markarth Achievement Category.

Kyne’s Aegis Trial

• Lord Falgravn
  • Prisoners can no longer be affected by player abilities.

Quests

• A Feast of Souls: Fixed an issue where your character could be dropped beneath the floor after retrieving the Keystone during this quest.

Weapon

• Destruction Staff
  • Wall of Elements: Fixed a performance issue affecting the Unstable Wall of Frost morph.
• Dual Wield
  • Flurry: Fixed an issue where this ability and its morphs were inheriting Thaumaturge's damage bonus.

Armor

• Heavy Armor
  • Unstoppable: Fixed an issue where this ability and its morphs did not properly grant immunity to Crowd Control.

Guild

• Psijic Order
  • Time Stop
    • Borrowed Time: Fixed an issue where this ability’s visuals lasted longer than the debuff.

Champion System

• Fixed an issue where some Champion stars were displaying their tooltips in incorrect units. 
• Champion star tooltips will no longer display their raw parametrized string.
• Updated the visuals for slotted stars to make it more obvious when something is currently slotted on your Champion Bar.
• Reimplemented the confirmation animation that plays after purchasing or changing point allocations in Champion stars.
• Fixed an issue that could cause Champion stars to become stuck when continually adding or removing points.
• Meticulous Disassembly:
  • Fixed an issue where the Woodworking portion of this passive was the only one to work, and would break if you spent points into the Wood Extraction passive.
  • Obtaining this passive will now properly scale with each rank of the respective craft trees and allow you to exceed the normal cap of improved chances with each.
    • Note that there is no chance associated in the tooltip with this passive as the chance is not a static value and is dependent upon your passive level of the other extraction passives, in addition to varying chances per material type (temper, style material, etc.)

• Improved the animations for the Chaos Ball Victor and Offer Weapon emotes.
• Fixed minor visual issues with several armor and weapons.

• Fixed some audio issues for a variety of older animations.

Anniversary Jubilee

• Fixed an issue where the 2021 Jubilee Cake was not granting the proper XP buff.

Furnishings

• Fixed some distorted textures along the ridges of the “Basalt Pillar, Glowing” achievement furnishing.

Homes

• Corrected a few small visual issues in Varlaisvea Ayleid Ruins and Kushalit Sanctuary.
• Fixed an issue that caused it to be unusually bright inside of Snugpod.

Blackwood Prologue

• A Mortal’s Touch:
  • Examining the Dread Lady's letter now appropriately shares among the group.
  • Your character will no longer get attacked while talking to Lyranth in Erokii Ruins.
  • You will now encounter more resistance from the Waking Flame.
• The Emperor’s Secret
  • Eveli no longer has an interact prompt when she's not interactable.
  • Quest books found within the Imperial Sewers are now found at Borodin's camp after the quest.
  • The cultist who thought it’d be funny to hang a Molag Bal banner inside the Deadlands has been punished and the appropriate signage has been hung in its place.
