Sorcerer pets - stop the hate !

I have wardens and sorcs - LOTS of them. The only time the pets are out is if I know I'm going to have to kill some mobs. If I'm out, and get jumped, I usually can manage to kill up to three mobs without the pets (because once I'm in combat, it's a practical impossibility with my ping to pop the pets).

by lore, they're not illegal, and they're common mage summoned pets/servants, so making them illegal in towns ruins the continuity.

The bird absolutely blocks everything flapping up and down like that (anyone who insists they don't is WRONG), the dog is just too big. The monkey is the only one that's not a massive pain in the rear.

And in dungeons they're even worse, especially if it's a dungeon with daedric enemies. Then add in a daedroth to that and who even knows what you're meant to be attacking because some sorc has brought their barely indistinguishable menagerie along.

I know that not everyone has the...aptitude, and definitely not the knowledge, to learn the magic arts. But if I need to repeat myself one more time to commoners who couldn't tell a scamp from a daedroth, I'm going to start enchant lightposts throughout cities that repeats my words for me. Ahem. Summoning daedra is a common practice for mages, and isn't and shouldn't be illegal!

Silliness aside, making daedra a criminal act would go against lore. The only place where it's not allowed is Summerset.


They do need some love though, with new skins. Their current one is so badly textured and coloured. Why do they have that weird light purple?!
