Sorcerer pets - stop the hate !

I mean, look at them ! Aren't they cute?
All daedra are not bloodthisrty monsters !
They can be friend and perhaps lovers, too !
Look at those 2 ! Don't you feel happy for them having found each other?

Don't ban them from our fair cities !

I wish they were about Half the size and illegal in town and quite possibly automatically de-spawn out of battle.

Really they only need to be invisible to other players outside of groups/combat. Or maybe a toggle for that

I REALLY wished only the player could see their own summons.

No more 10 daedroth standing in your face
No more bears and sorc pets blocking stuff and preventing interaction..

Also I wonder.. Wouldn't it improve performance if the game didn't have to spawn everyones pets, but only your pet...

Please make it happen Zos.

People don't want them banned from towns because of how they look but because they're so big, one is constantly flapping and they can get in the way of interactive things like bankers and writ drop-off boxes.

One of my characters is a sorcerer and I never use the winged twilight because I can't stand the constant repetitive movement. I find it very distracting and annoying. It doesn't matter what it looks like, the size and the animation is the problem.

That menagerie should be visible to the summoning player only. That goes for bears and for these incoming companions as well. There is very little in this game quite as obnoxious, other than those pooball things people throwing each other, than a great pile of brainless pets all standing in the way of a crafting drop-off spot. There are times when, as a reasonable and calm human being, I hate those things with every fibre of my existence 🤬

I will rip the wings off that bat and bbq them and eat every last scrap. As for clanfear and scamp i would make some boots from their hides and a feast of their flesh... i hate these pets

I really love/hate my pet. Yes she has the best burst heal in the game but but... those flapping wings (/rage)

I have a sorc, I use the flappy bird. Can't stand the damn thing. As soon as it's done it's job it's straight back into the box with that thing.

I really love my evil little bat-fom-hell but the paroxysm-inducing flapping wings give me palpitations so I'm rather judicious in dismissing this pet. The heal however is part of my current combat strategy tbh.

I did a trial once where everyone was a sorc with both pets and storm atro ults. Even the tank. About half the group also had sets like Mad Tinkerer, Maw of the Infernal, Shadowrend, etc. I'm not sure I even actually saw enemies through the eye-bleeding whirlwind of flapping wings and giant Daedroths.

Hide pets while out of combat would be a great option, I slot the twilight on 5th slot (where rapids goes when I mount) so the pet is desummoned automatically after mounting. You do need the add-on Assist Rapid Riding for this to work.

Ooor, Pet Dismiss, another add-on. I use that one, the sorc doesn't have rapids (since they swapped the skills around, and haven't been bothered yet to get it back on this one).

I have only tinkered with the pet sorc so far. I think she is level 20ish? I do intend on giving the setup a honest go once I have a single level 50 to play. I just wanted to focus on one at a time to start, and right now thats my DK tank.

Flappy bird makes me rage, with her constant hovering and flapping and dumb looking ponytail.

Bear makes me rage. Is cute, but is also fat and likes to stand on things.

Explodey gremlin makes me rage. Horrible little gremlin.

Clannfears are fine.

They are Deadra. Summoning Daedra goes way back in Elder Scrolls.
