I don't want to see this ultimate nerfed in its overall effectiveness, but I definitely think it needs some adjustments to make it more fair to fight against. There are two main issues with this ultimate.
1. The animation is very hard to see, and delayed: Making it difficult to know exactly when its up. If you don't hear the sound you are often screwed.
2. The counterplay to 100% armor ignore is minimal when the attacking DK has extreme mobility and you can't kite them, particularly when combined with petrify
Personally, I don't want to see this ultimate "nerfed" in overall power, but I think there should be more counter-play options and perhaps a shift in the power of this ult in defense/utility/offense to make it more fair so that it isn't such an I win button offensively.
This means perhaps making the ultimate even better defensively or utility wise but taking away some of the offensive ability to completely melt people; or adding better counter play options. Balance adjustments without an overall nerf would be ideal.
