Does ZOS have any plan for Combat Update?

    14 is stare at hotbar, repeatedly use specific combo from given class until everything is dead, look at middle of screen when a ddr flash pops on screen(telegraph for more often then not insta kills/make healer do less damage).

    attacks from all melee weapons just dont have the sense of weight put into swings.. and i cant use 2h because of RS weird hop, 1h's low slash comes off as a slap instead of one of melees best aoes(deep s. average is 3k~ for us non metas).

    tera, aion, gw2 have that quality weight behind each strike, bdo one upped everything to 11.. then back down(lighting from nearly everything)

    dizzy swing, 7 meters default
    cleave, 7 meters default
    flurry, 7 meters default

    even 3 meters is much, assuming a long sword doesn't even have 2 meters. But would feel more realistic for "melee" range. Imagine i can hit you with the knife, without letting it out of my hand, from the other side of an apartment room.

    Perhaps the animations could be more unique for each type of weapon with current timings, but there is no really need for it to have impact. For example: three/four strikes from different angles as light atack series with possibility to strike heavy from the current angle.
    ESO has a high-speed gameplay, so complication of the fight system will weaken stamina-characters.

    If players don’t want cooldowns. How about this.

    If not that, how about gear sets that boost weapon damage. VET content overhauled to be more about mechanics and not dps checks. In other words, remove the need for light weaving and hotbar flipping.

    What’s funny is that the ones that don’t see the issue have only played WoW or GW2 and thinks that’s every MMO.

    A lot of players need to look at Black Desert, Dragons Dogma, For Honor, Dragon Age: Inquisition, and just about every fantasy action game that has been released since 2010. It’s bad when Skyrim plays better as an action game than your action MMO.

    I have a friend that told that ESO is going to the most popular MMO if it has better combat.

    I have no doubt if they overhauled combat, they'd do better against other game in a competitive sense not to mention if they managed to make it feel as good as BDO. It's the same if BDO added in more group dungeons and had story that rivaled single player games.
