I definitely would once it gets its minimum travel time fixed.
It may be a unpopular opinion, though I also think crystal fragments could use a buff for once. Damage constantly gets reduced. We lost 3% just in the last 2 patches. Who knows when another % is taken and then another.

I get that. Merciless is wonderful. Such a sweet juicy tooltip, plus what is essentially minor force too except it also helps your healing. It's very nice.
It's not all sunshine though, and particularly in PvP it can be such a huge PITA. The five light attacks thing is more of a suggestion, as more than once I've specifically done five to charge it so I can go in and wallop someone, only to have it not proc and have to do multiple more to get it to work. It doesn't hold charges and will just randomly drop off in the middle of combat -- more times than I can count I've had it ready with ample time left, then go to do a combo and nope, it's gone now. It's also a couple thousand stam/mag for the initial cast, which does nothing on it's own making it a "dead cast". Then to actually use the spectral arrow you have to spend stam/mag again, so 2295/2700 + 1147/1350 = 3442/4050 to use it vs. crystal shards which doesn't have a direct proc cost and only costs 1350 to activate.
Then there's the travel time, which is awful. It's so slow that you can shoot it point blank at someone, they can dodge after you shoot it and still miss. Hell you can have someone CC'd and they can still break free and roll dodge and make the arrow miss.
I also don't really think it's a fair comparison anyway, because as a nightblade the entirety of your killing power is coming from death stroke + grim focus. The only real damage NB's have outside of that is swallow soul/surprise attack spam. The difference is curse. Magsorcs will combo that burst all at once, so curse + frags + usually meteor or mages wrath (or both). NB's don't have any delayed burst, they have deathstroke + spectral bow, so the two can't truly be compared on a 1:1 basis and the whole class needs to taken into account, but in general grim focus should do a lot more damage than crystal frags because nightblades don't really have much else in their kit available to them.

Hey everybody, Im old school player, [snip] We need crystal shard to be nerfed! you may ask why, because snipe will get again nerfed for 20%+ and this is not the first time!!! today I died from crustal shard 4 times in pvp, so we need to nerf it(yes yes I understand what you may think... to be honest I'm with you guys), but I dont give any [snip] about that, if ZOS likes to nerf everything they MUST nerf also crystal shard, snipe already got nerfed many times. Another thing, IMHO stamina players MUST do more dps than mag players, both pve/pvp wise, because stamina players melee and standing in the middle of aoe and doing impossible to survive and do damage plus they dont have any shields!
So once again nerf pls crystal shard its doing very high damage @ZOS_GinaBruno

I am aware of all of that and I agree. When comparing Grim Focus and Shards, both have their advantages and disadvantages. Crystal shard suffers from the same issue of low travel time. Both have a travel time of almost half a second. But crystal fragments is not such a tragic loss should it fail. Grim Focus rewards you with pretty much the hardest hitting ability in the game, especially with death stroke active.
If Grim Focus would lose all its unreliability, I would really want it.
And curse is an entirely different thing for me. Most of the time I do not even bother applying it, because so many classes can and will just cleanse it away. It also has laughable damage compared to other delayed burst abilities. It pales next to Shalks and especially Blastbones.
