Echoing Vigor Is Too Weak In PVP Groups of 4 or Less

Having tested this heal many times in battlegrounds, even on a team with three stamina characters it is better to use resolving vigor because it heals for almost three times more heals per second and you aren’t dependent on teammates if you’re on your own.

One idea is to make echoing vigor only effect one additional person (to limit its stack ability) but greatly increase it’s heals per second so that it’s actually a viable alternative to resolving vigor in standard group sizes of 4 or less.

Another idea would be to attach an additional bonus to echoing vigor, preferably an offensive one so that damage dealers could opt to forego better healing for even more damage. Minor courage for example.

Echoing Vigor has plenty of uses and is even borderline broken if used properly. It just doesn't suit the exact need you currently have. That does not mean it needs to be adjusted to suit that exact need.

No need to make a change. While I spend most of my times in BGs, you're not considering PVE, Cyrodiil, IC/sewers. In those contexts, an AOE HoT is very powerful.

Echoing Vigor is an AOE HoT. Resolving Vigor is a compact self-HoT.

It's the same if you look at Resto Staff's Regeneration. There's an AOE HoT morph, and a compact single target HoT morph. The only difference being that with the healing staff, you can target the single target HoT. But it's a Restoration Staff so that makes sense.

Vigor you can use with any weapon set.

That’s why i suggested limiting it to only effect one additional person or providing an offensive bonus. Right now echoing vigor would only be chosen in large groups with multiple healers present. Almost nobody would choose this morph for solo player or standard group sizes of 4 or less.

I’d like to see echoing vigor not be a Zerg skill and instead be made competitive with resolving vigor for solo and small group play. The last thing we need is skills that only benefit zergs (meaning large groups)

Yes i agree completely, They should make echoing similar to how resolving used to be, healing for x amount over 5 seconds on yourself and healing another for slightly less over 5 seconds.

As others have said, you're not considering all of the possibilities and uses for this skill. In fact you seem to be missing the biggest of them all: Powerful Assault. This is a great set for 4-mans and is *the* set for a stam healer. You proc it with Caltrops, Horn... and Echoing Vigor.

Echoing vigor is helpful in trials, paired with powerful assault, because of its aoe healing. It still has to be cast twice because it only hits 6 people.

Like someone said above my post, I use Echoing Vigor on my 5-Medium/2-Heavy Stamina Templar Tank, paired with Powerful Assault as well as Extended Ritual for slight addition to group healing/support. They tick for about 2500 health each which is better than nothing in 4-Man dungeons.

I always compared Echoing Vigor to Radiating Regeneration with how much it healed over a long period of time. For what it is it's pretty darn good.
