I really hope they let us romance Valaste from the mages guild quest lines if we save her. Come on folks Valaste for companion 2022 campaign trail here we go!

Many of us suffer for Skingrad. But Skingrad will come back stronger and without Dagon to destroy everything in his path. I pray for a politico-religious intrigue like Orsinium. The potential is great there.
I just hope I'll be healthy when Skingrad goes out with Sutch and Sarchal.

This tower will not be missed by anyone.

ESO makes attractive the areas that are not attractive in solo TES.

Just in case, maybe anyone happens to know... What's, uhm, a normal body temperature of a vampire? For purely, purely scientific purposes. Yeah. Science. Scholarly research.

Edit to add: all these screenshots made me want to play Oblivion again. Maybe even finally do the main quest for a change

It has water gates on both sides now but a ship still couldn't get through without taking down masts lol. Even then I wonder if there's some low clearance bridge within the city that prevents the ship from getting to the other water gate.

Yup! Of course they have the benefit of better technology and resources than 2006 and they get to build on and improve what's already there as opposed from starting from scratch. Really like their take on Leyawiin (ships actually being able to sale to the Imperial Isle pending).

Blackwood but also the Reach. These are two areas that ESO have made attractive with great interest.

That was a shocking moment. I was like: What?! In this stinking city?! Madam, don't you see we're surrounded by humans here?!

This is what bothers me. Leyawiin lies at the mouth of the Niben river. It is the mouth of the Niben River. Yet there is no massive river running through/past with enough clearance for ships to pass.

This is why I hoped they wouldn't copy Oblivion's so much and more go after some concept art of the city or a combination, which makes a lot more sense.

How is it supposed to be one of the most trafficked rivers in Tamriel when ships can't pass Leyawiin?!

I imagine that we will be able to have a foot in the Niben river... That it will not be deep to cross it more easily. lol

Point is for the river to be large enough to realistically fit passing ships the city itself would need to be massive in ESO's scale, if it encompasses both banks. In the end the player just hast to fantasize the sight cause the Devs have to make due with the performance restrictions.

Trust me though I wish the player hubs were huge. I'd even be happy if an Adventure zone was nothing but a city.

So how do ships get into Topal Bay from the Imperial Isle given Leyawiin is in the way?

In that image at the top, how do you ships get through there when their are rocks there?

Could that possible be the Ancestral Akaviri motif in the 10th image? It's certainly Akaviri, but looks a bit tidier and better than the original. Could just be the art, but it gives hope that Blackwood may be where we finally see the availability of the Ancestral Breton, Imperial, and Akaviri motifs that were datamined quite a while ago.

Or we'll be forced to be envious of the npcs running around wearing them.

A very good question. It probably depends on when the last meal was..

I think it depends on the environment.
Like, when you set the vampire on fire, he would probably develop a not-quite-so-cold temperature.
Not recommended to do that in bed, though.

I guess there are better methods to warm a vampire up when needed anyway.

The vampire probably doesn't care what temperature he is anyway. Everything else is only of interest to non-dead heroes who need him for the romancing.

Yes it is the Ancestral Akaviri motif. I had spotted a Fighters Guild NPC in Markarth wearing it.

Thanks! Leyawiin was really botched in Oblivion. It had nice vibe, something reminding me of New Orleans with it's colorful wooden houses and swamp trees, but the lack of port or even the passage for the river was really bad. ESO looks better, there's a port and the river actually connects to the sea but the bridge seems really low. Maybe if they swapped it for a drawbridge?

It's a strange thing anyway. If you're into "romancing" the undead, you shouldn't fear the cold.

To me...the best looking cities from ESO design team are the ones from Cyrodiil. Anvil and Kvatch are superb. Now I see that Leyawiin too. Looks very very good.
Let's hope to see more Cyrodiil cities in the future.

Well, we came far from Leyawiin to romances with undead ... So: I think the pictures of Leyawiin look very promising, much more friendly than the musty, wet Leyawinn in TES IV.

I'd disagree. If they don't have any warmth of their own, they could turn into icicle in a colder environment. Quite a solid reason to care about temperature.

That would be another reason for the need of blood, if my assumption is correct and the body temperature depends on it.
