Fix for Target Dummies

Given results of initial testing highlighting issues with debuffs on target dummies, any chance of both confirmation of exactly what is not being applied and timeline for fixes. Without working dummies it is almost impossible to do meaningful testing for damage characters.

The addon isn’t updated to know what these are. Don’t trust anything you see there. The new advanced stats in the character menu is a better indicator, but no guarantee it is working 100% correctly either.

This is exactly why it would be helpful to get some "official" word on what's currently working or not. Hoping it's not just a case of writing off any DPS testing until week 2 or 3 of PTS.

Also, other stats do work correctly in combat metrics raw data show. and the parses matches, I don't think it's that big of a deal on the addon side.

EDIT: (And the damage itself it's similar to not having any Cp slotted, so yeah, this is not working).

All dummies are having the same issues. It's also everything and not just dummies. After doing some testing inside the two new dungeons with various debuffs (Minor and Major Breach, Crusher, etc.) our PTS group found no difference to damage with or without resistance debuffs.

Removed from known issues in 6.3.2 but still not fixed from some quick testing.

Ie it's gone from a known issue to an ignored (at least publicly) issue.

This is getting ridiculous. Parsing is a huge part of testing on the PTS (of which I kindly remind everyone that the "T" stands for "test"). If this is fixed next week (huge emphasis on if), we'll have waited three weeks to be allowed to begin proper testing, which will leave us one, at best two weeks to test everything. Even when the testing environment works properly, there are a lot of stuff that go live in a broken state, leaving us waiting for further incremental patches (or the next update) before we can play properly. I've long been a ZOS defender but this is messed up. I can't say I'm looking forward to the update, and that's an understatement.

At least they saved us from redoing parses after major CP change in 6.3.2

I'm concerned from an overall feedback / response perspective. I'm a console player, and I do also have a PC account so that I can experience the game and what's coming in relation to the console. Professionally, I develop software. There have been a lot of changes made to the overall specs on combat, buffs, de-buffs, gear, CP, etc. All of which relate back to increases and decreases in dps, crit, etc. Basically, the overall aspect of the game.

For there to be no feedback given on the dummy parses, how things are working, etc. makes me wonder... How on earth did the dev's test the dps output? What do they consider optimized groups going forward? How did the new CP tree fit into this testing? A lot of valid questions have been asked, but no answers.

We've saw in the introduction video the statement that the developers ran every dungeon and trial as vet hard-mode, with "NO" CP applied. What was those setups? Did this include some other than published builds, setups, wild configurations? A lot of players depend on some of the games best players, who are a part of these discussions, to run test and different configurations to get an idea of how to setup their characters. Without their guidance and advice, many will struggle. Something has to break free to give more information.

You have your development cycle, release candidates, and then you'll have to lock down for the release. It's not an overnight process. This looks like it's going to be a very big fiasco at it's current pace.

    "Just my opinion"

@jbanks27 the bigger question, how did they figure out that offensive CPs needed a nerf? Because by removing stages from offensive CPs, they effectively nerfed these, without having any relevant data from parses.

Quite possible, and I'm speculating here, is that they have all the data on hand, but are preventing the PTS playerbase intentionally and on purpose to avoid having these players gain an advantage by having all the necessary gear and builds on day 1 when it goes live.

With changes this size in scope, I doubt they are fully aware of the impact it will have on the game. In this regard, I suspect a lot of player dissatisfaction and subsequent revisions over the next year. I have always doubted their development priorities were closely aligned with the player base...apart from what might sell in the crown store.
