CP: Make stars better, and allow us to slot only 5 (from any tree - total)

The underlying problem - which I've seen many of the comms (youtube or posts) speak to, is the lack of variety, identity, meaningful choices and so on. You've taken a step in the right direction by trying to address that through clear armor identity. Why dont we do the same for CP?

If you make CP choices more impactful (stronger, or more unique than just % increases), but then force us to choose between offensive and defensive ones, you will see a significant positive change in the meta (Read: It wont be so tight with very narrow build/gear/class choices). You wouldn't be able to pick a ton mitigation, sustain, and damage - ever - at the same time.

I think you're inevitably going to get there... but this seems a better time for it. Rather than inching there every year or so

    Personally, I would rather not have to swap stars every time I want to stop and harvest a node. The system as presented on the PTS is already dangerously close to this.

    I think it's very important that we are limited in the number of blue CP passives we can slot compared to the others. You risk extreme min/max if you allow potentially more of them while also massively limiting defensive and utility passives. I like the current 4/4/4 proposal at the moment.

    I think you will still easily have a single or maybe 2 meta specc choices because it's 4/4/4.

    If you made it just 5 for example, but improved the power for the passives, you'll end up with real differences even between dps speccs. For example, speccing for dot / attrition vs big burst dd vs healing/def etc...
