May I recommend the following foolproof strategy. Keep running content until you have all the gear you want or until you get bored and fed up with it. When either of these occur stop doing the content and go and do something else. This is a game after all not a job.

    *rolleyes*

There is always someone with this logic.

Sorry but ignoring flawed system in not a fix for flawed system.

it is funny that u call it flawed, because from the creator's PoV it is not flawed, because it makes content replayable...

Oh you ARE right in this, but there is fine line between "replayable" and rage quiting (seen players quit before for that reason, and in my case it was one of major factors for quitting DDO)

Giving players "something to do" is always good, but developers need to find that magic spot where hamster wheel keeps players running and does not push them away. I mentioned DDO, that game went way past that line into "don't even bother catching up if you recently started", i hope zeni has more sense than SSG.

One thing you are overlooking with skewing the drops in favour of stuff not in the sticker book - I might be helping a friend farm a set from a dungeon I have run loads of times and got the majority of the items. My friend is after a specific item that I already have in my sticker book.

I have no issues at present as we both have an equal chance of the item he wants dropping, thus making helping him worthwhile

Under a system that gives me more chance of getting an item I don't have reduces his chance of getting the item he wants as my chance of getting it for him is decreased.

For a selfish player that never farms with friends then this is a good idea, for those of us that farm with friends and share our gear at the end this reduces our chances of helping each other.

And what happens if you have all of a set? It stops dropping for you?
