Hakeijo availability

I’ve been wondering lately — after running quite a lot in Cyrodiil during couple of weeks — whether Hakeijos actually drop there at some rate? Can someone confirm? I have been told they do and but haven’t seen a single one in the last six months. My friend also commented after harvesting Cyrodiil for hours per day during the last two weeks that they haven’t found a single one of those. I even tried to find them during the double harvesting node event with no luck. I can admit that I haven’t put *that* much time into this so far, but before spending more hours I would like to know if they actually drop in Cyrodiil? I had few of those, but cannot say whether they were from the trove scamps in IC, some event or from somewhere else.

They are purchased wirh Tel Var in the Imperial City. They very, very rarely drop from psijic portals. You cannot harvest them from enchanting nodes anywhere.

Imperial City is really the only reliable place to get them by purchasing them with Tel Var. They also sometimes drop as rewards from the Cunning scamps if I remember correctly.

IC vendor and certain event boxes are the only sources as far as I know

They also drop from psjic portals, but the chance is suuuper low.

The least they can do is rework IC.
The bosses melt in CP within seconds.
Yet in noncp where you deal half the damage and take double the damage they nearly oneshot you even with 30k health

I dont know, it forces you to do IC. So far, I found Hakeijo only once in a psijic portal.

Also if I remember correctly the midyear mayhem reward boxes can drop them as I seem to remember I ended up with 7 or 8 after the event. Midyear Mayhem is starting soon as its the next event this month I believe.

The only time I ever got one from a drop was from killing ole Molag in the Sewers. Once. Just once. So yeah, the drop rate is really low.

Don't forget that you can get them from farming Molag Bal in the center of the IC Sewers. That used to be the way we got them. I remember he used to be pretty tough but I managed to Duo him and Ive seen plenty of videos of Solo players killing him, but would not recommend it.

IC is by far my favorite dlc. Not only do you get fun PVP but you can make some good money doing it.

I have had heavy sacks of them. Four at a time, if I recall.

I've got them from Psijic portals often enough that I've got a total of 10 across my four accounts (2 accounts each on both the PC megaservers). Because that's the only place I will ever get them - not going to IC, and not paying what the people selling on traders want for them.

It's luck and RNG.... I find a LOT of portals.

I know.. :'D I was blindly trusting what I had been told. but well, I was mainly trying to find the new recipes, so Hakeijos would just have been a nice addition.. (for the record, haven’t found a recipe either, but at least I know they are actually dropping there )

As suggested, farm Tel Var in IC: hakeijo can be bought for 5k Tel Var per piece at the alliance bases in the sewers. Other available options are guild traders or zone chat sellers.
Drop rate from treasure scamps and portals is way to low (rare drop)
You can also get them via daily quests rewards at events related to PvP (Midyear Mayhem n IC Celebration).

I recently got one from a Psijic portal but it was the first after about 4 years.

You’re better off buying them.

I'm pretty sure they drop from Enchanting Surveys (very rarely) as well.

The places I've gotten hakeijo from (besides other players), mostly mentioned above.
Tel Var merchant
Trove scamp in the sewers.
Psijic portal.
Midyear Mayhem reward boxes.
Jubilee reward boxes.

And the person who sold it to you got it from IC, most likely. So maybe not you in particular but some people who either want them for themselves or to sell

I'm in the upper city almost every day. I've never seen hakeijo drop from a mob or a boss in the upper city, or a mob or boss in the sewers other than the Trove scamps.

I don't doubt this, I just don't fight the simulacrum often enough to have seen this myself which is why I didn't have it in my list.
