Its possible Nayru will return this year and her role possibly predicted by prophecy.

A little bit back there was a forum thread that talked about this npc, being possible reference's to chapters. It was a stable master that seems to predict several chapter things. What I've found may imply a huge role and possible sad outcome for Nayru. As the forture in the Dark Brotherhood suggests something that may imply this cult and could imply something to do with it.
During the Dark Brotherhood dlc there was this cryptic note about her future.

Dawn Destroys it when the sun finally rises, that is a possible reference to the mythic dawn. The Mythic dawn in the third era aimed to destroy Tamriel so a new dawn can come about. Now this group won't be called Mythic Dawn directly I think but will be similar to them I'm guessing.
Now we have this npc that also makes reference to the beautiful darkness that also implies several things chapter hints.

The Beautiful Darkness is Nayru its clear cut mentioned and spelled out for us in several sources. That is her title, she returns with Morrowind. she walks in the shadows That references Summerset, between the moons Elsweyer, But she prefers to ride a Dire Wolf. Western Skyrim. Make sure the Sharp Arrow knows is this year.
What this means is Nayru could making a huge return as well because this latest storyline could play a key role in the prophecy and her fortunes. Which means if this is true then she could be facing a grim fate possibly even dying in this years overall storyline, because its said the Dawn destroys when the sun finally rises. Which could be a hint towards what this year will be about and what the end game is for the several chapter archs they have been doing. The ending for her possibly predicted in a note introduced with the dark Brotherhood.
So if you put these together then you get this.

That wasn't, a full on speculation thread though people have speculated in it including myself that was the day the reveal was done last year.
The point of this thread is Nayru's possible role and I find it really interesting it being a title Beautiful Darkness has both some npcs talking about her, and then a note also calling her that also has some cryptic message about her fortune. It was worthy enough for me to share it with the community.PC NA

We don't know yet, but its possible she will be and given I think this year is going to be a full cycle type of thing it might go back to the beginning in some way. Its why I think its possible she will return. Given the Npc stablemaster hinting towards everything including Eveli's return and then that note about her future. I can see it being tied into that somehow.
Cyrodiil was the first content dlc though it was pvp, Eveli appeared in the first non pvp pve dlc which was the second dlc, Nayru was part of the first chapter. There is a symbiotic thing with it that they could be doing with it. But that is speculation, and if I'm right this was placed in the game several years back when they started the dlc/chapter concept.
