How long would it take to grind for the Pale Order ring?

Suggest grinding the Ring of the Wild Hunt too.Also a lead in Bad Man's Hollow but better drop rate. And I feel it's more useful: moar speed is almost always nice. (Pickpocketing moving targets is about only exception I've encountered.)

Well I appear to have been one of the lucky ones with regards to Bad Man’s Hollow. I just went there and got the lead in about 3 minutes. I think it was on my fifth group of trash mobs.

That said, the Bangkorai one—the only other one I’ve tried to get so far—has been much more elusive to me. I’ve opened like 15 chests in Bangkorai without getting the lead.

Okay, my RNG for this was really good. Got the Bad Man’s Hollow one on about my fifth group of trash mobs. Had barely even entered the place before I got it. Got the Alikir Delve one on my second time fighting the delve boss. The first world boss location I tried to go to in Wrothgar, a group of people were already fighting it and I joined in and got the lead from that. A couple days ago I’d tried about 15-20 chests in Bangkorai and not gotten the lead, but I got it today on my third chest. The whole process took me only like an hour, and I did a random group dungeon during that time too. That said, I did spend like an hour or two looking for chests in Bangkorai the other day, so I’d say it took me 2-3 hours to get the leads.

So I’m only in the process of actually scrying and excavating. Have excavated one of the items. So I should have the ring soon. Overall, the actual leveling of the skills took several hours but wasn’t too painful, and then I ended up with great RNG for the leads.

The RNG will determine the farming bit. Leveling I did in about three or four days because I was hyperfocused on it, and I used the Coldharbour lead for Void Crystal Anomaly as soon as I was able. It might be easier now that not everyone is clustered around the Hollow City snatching up alchemy nodes as soon as they appear.

I have found that when I'm farming for a lead that drops from trash mobs, it is SUPER helpful to group up with other people. That way you get loot from stuff in other rooms that someone grouped with you killed, if you stay fairly close but not on top of each other, and you're not in competition. It goes faster that way.

Spread it out over a week, or one very long boring day in which the grind is your job.

It took me about an hour to find all the leads. I went into bad mans hollow and I got the lead from the very first mob I killed
