Love how wolves feel ...some mounts feel awkwards how they move but i find wolves move smoothly

Cats: move nicely too ..nice to ride
Guards..like how they look

Then camels cos they are quirky and they spit 😂

They have such a smooth riding animation compared to mounts like horses which have a stiff riding animation.

My hobby horse is the only mount I need. Sure, it actually slows me down when running, but the admiration I get from my fellow raiders when I sit up... er, crouch down, in the saddle... er, on the stick, is totally worth it. They can't even handle their envy, so they have to ridicule me and kick me to pretend they aren't standing in total awe!

Honestly.... I don't ride that much. Any time I'm out overland on a character, I'm harvesting. It's a total PITA to mount/dismount/mount - and I just can't deal with that crap.

So I run. And harvest. On foot.

They're all pretty terrible. Some of the worst feeling mounts and animations I've ever seen. I am so not into mounts in this game.

The Stick Horse mount might make sense now when riding is not significantly faster than running.

Dwarven spiders all the way! Although I recently use just plain horses, for rp reasons. I generally like to use the mount from the region I'm currently questing in.

Elk is listed, along with Indrik. It made sense to group some mounts together, such as Guar and Kagouti, Indrik and Elk.

I forgot to add Wolves in, but technically its not my fault, its the fault of the website I was on for a list of ESO mounts, which also omitted Wolves! I can only apologies. It is clear that Wolves are the fav of a significant percentage. Naturally, I use one on my Werewolf char:)

More lore-friendly realistic looking mounts please!

I tend to use whatever mount fits the character I’ve made. Personally, I’m not so much a fan of the mechanical mounts. Love the idea of two-seaters though so hope there will be more of that with other mounts to come. I find that horses and wolves have some really weird wonky looking textures so not a fan. The cats seem very well done though and my fave is the sabrecat mounts. I like the elks/indriks too. Hope we get something like an irish elk whenever northern reach zone comes. I also love that when pressing space bar while idle, your mount roars.

Horses because they're more lore-friendly. Granted, there are some crazy horses out there, but still I prefer them.

In close second would be my Dwemer spider, I don't see too many people with it so a lot of people seem interested in it. I had two khajiit players the other day use the /hammerlow emote and pretend to be repairing and scrapping my spider, which was quite funny
