My new tank in a low level normal dungeon was grouped with a high CP DD who insisted on running ahead and leaving all sorts of thrash mobs in their wake. I’m OK as a tank and almost unkillable but the others in the group were not.
A couple of us politely asked them not to rush and got very toxic replies in the group chat. Screenshotted, reported and kicked. We cleared the dungeon quite fast with the new DD.
Some time later in another low level dungeon the same player turns up with the same selfish behaviour. Well after politely asking them not to rush they post the same toxic/profanity-laced replies. I wonder if this person copy-pastes their foul comments as they were identical and quite long. Screenshotted, reported and kicked.
I do not think that joining a group and then rushing ahead for your own selfish desires is good gameplay.

Obviously you are capable of doing thing solo so do it alone.
I always either farm alone or ask my friends if they are available...

I don't rush when I'm with PUGs but I can understand the rushers. If it's a random normal, then the reason is 10 crystals. Imagine someone having 10 characters, minimum wait time for a DD is 15 min. That's 2.5 hours spent in queue. No one wants to waste 20 min in FG1 or whatever.

If you pug, you do what the group does. If they rush - you rush, if they do the quest and loot every container - you wait for them.
If you want to run how you want to run - you need a premade.

Why is it not the opposite? If you want to rush and skip everything, why don't YOU make your own group?

Of course the counter argument is that you won't be filling in any gaps in groups, but how many groups are really hurting for a dps in their random normal?

Overland content is too easy
You go to normal dungeons to try and learn Tanking only to have people run ahead of you pulling everything.
Then you get to Base vet with a 50/50 chance of people pulling so every other game you MAY learn to tank.
Then your get to vetDLC and haven't learned anything for 75% of your runs and you get splattered by one-shots lol.
Learning to play tank is pretty brutal in this game, not gonna lie.
