It's been two years of things getting worse and worse, on average, with some glimmers of hope, that rarely hold up over time.
Supposedly today's update addresses some of these issues, but time will tell.

Then why are you speaking. Wait a few hours and actually try the patch that is attempting to fix things before getting up on a soap box.

Yeah... They said last incremental that they fixed crashes...
To answer you, soap box boy, you'd need a week to be able to test it properly. If you actually read my post, you'd see that I didn't really crash all week only to crash 7 times last night so, instead of waiting all week and then posting about how bad of a job they're doing, I make my statement pre-emptively: they have no excuses
IF, something that should've been fixed day 1 or at least week 1, isn't fixed, the already inexcusable should be for them a great source of shame.
So my statement doesn't require any testing, they said they had fixed things last incremental, turns out it was BS, this time around, it better be good.
Any complaints about performance since they announced today's patch, which was a week ago, are nonconstructive nonsense. We get it, it is running poorly. They announced a fix. They are implementing said fix today. You are complaining about something they have already addressed and taken steps to correct.

Its really not nonsense though.
I honestly can't even understand what goes through people's heads when they stand here and defend Zos for letting this happen.
This patch was just a disrespectful slap in the face.
The fact that on ps4 we couldn't do trials for basically a month almost killed the end game.
A guild I was I that was running trials daily now has been cancelling runs due to lack of sign up.
1/3 of the time spent in progression now if they even happen are just waiting on people dcing
Please just stop defending this garbage.
The more you allow this kind of thing the more crap people feed you.
Enough is Enough, fix it before a large portion of the community leaves.
Zos knew of all this crap on pts, yet nothing and they still pushed the release.
It shows you that you are considered nothing but a freaking dollar sign.
Now go buy crates from the only working thing the damb crown store

Not once have I defended the problems. I am however saying that complaining about something that literally has a fix scheduled is not doing any good. They implemented a problem, we complained, they scheduled a patch to fix the problem, and yet people keep complaining about the problem. What exactly is Zos supposed to do in this situation? They are fixing the problem, they have already done work on the patch to do so and are literally releasing it for PC this morning, and already released it for Xbox. PC players complaining about something that is literally already being fixed does nothing in this situation. Now, if Xbox players are still experiencing issues after Friday's patch, by all means complain away. But the complaining after a fix is already in the pipeline does nobody any good. It drowns out legitimate issues in the forums that people are experiencing.
And no, crashing 7 times last night is not a legitimate issue any more, because the fix is being implemented today and we were told that was going to be the case a week ago. Now, after the patch, if the crashing is still happening, then it is a legitimate issue again, until then, wait for the fix they said was coming, and that they are implementing right now.

I don't know if today's patch actually fixed anything just like last patch had supposedly fixed some crashes but last night (before today's patch) was the worst raid night I had seen since week 1 of the Markarth patch.
I hadn't been crashing that much during the week, had those stupid iddle crashes where your character stands still for 2-3 minutes and you just crash but was otherwise not suffering from too many crashes.
Last night though... What the hell!!! I crashed 6 times at least, tanks crashed other players crashed. At one point 7 of us crashed at the same time.
All I'm saying is, I've sent at least 50 crash reports and many more with the ones that at one point didn't prompt crash reports and that's your last chance. Raid teams disbanded over this, players left the game, we're 38+ days after the patch you have absolutely no excuse. There's isn't a shred of decency on how the team has been dealing with this, Gina's been good at communicating but one person's good job doesn't makes up for the poor work that's been done fixing something that wasn't broken pre-Markarth.
All this and I still see threads about WW skills and/or skill points being messed up. That seems like a straightforward fix and that's not done.
I've played other games way more than ESO the past weeks, please fix your game I don't want to only play other games going forward.
Please, for Gawd's sake and for the love of ***, fix your game.
Fixed an issue where Indriks around the paddocks had gone MIA.
