Vdsa freezing and dc's

I'm on xbox na. Late last night my group was running vdsa. It was pretty smooth most of the way. I froze during the sacrifice round once. But at the next to last boss we experienced constant freezing, mostly downstairs. I was only able to complete the fight and get back up once. That time two of the others froze upstairs. We made at least 10 attempts, with at least 1 freeze or dc each time. We gave up after about an hour of trying.
