Housing list for visiting?

Would it not be possible to have a list of a players visitable houses.
As a GM my guild House is my primary and is obviously very different to my other houses that I've spent ages decorating and having a number of friends/guild members who enjoy housing I'm constantly asked what my other houses look like but they have to wait until I'm online to be able to visit.
Unfortunately I tend to play during the graveyard times when very few folk are online.
As a result, I get to see their wonderful achievements but they hardly ever get to see mine.

It would be incredibly helpful if when you selected a friend/guild members option to visit, that a list of their houses opened up allowing you to select the House of interest.

Thoughts?

On PC there are two addons, EHT and PTF, which both have housing lists for you to visit. Housing guilds often change the players' roster note to contain a list of visit-able houses that are available to visit.

Unfortunately without addons I don't think it is possible to visit non-primary homes unless they are online.

I play on console so don't have the luxury of addons sadly.

I suppose perhaps another way could be to then allow a guild House to be registered as such therefore allowing a GM to set a house as a primary.

That would at least allow us to share our house with friends.

I mean I'm incredibly proud of the Guild House but it's a practical environment where you are limited with space constraints due to how many sets there are whereas in your 'home' we tend to sometimes really change things around, creating new areas or building completely new structures.

There surely must be something they can do

It would be a great edition. I'd love for people to see all of my homes, I decorated every inn room! (Then I realized it was pointless and moved all the furniture to a holding facility house until I start up my guild.

It's something that's been on the request list for a while and I know ZOS knows we want it. However, in the meantime, I would suggest you check out youtube - there's tons of home tours. Otherwise, you might want to hit up your friends and housing guilds on console and ask them to throw together a list you can share on discord or the forums. I welcome videos from consolers so I can show their work too on my stream, but I get very few submissions.

I still don't know why they don't give us a dropdown menu that lists all your homes. And they could make it customizable so the player could choose which houses show up on the list, in case there are some they don't want open for viewing.

I agree OP. Housing in this game has so much potential and it really saddens me that its kind of a back burner thing (thats what it feels like to me anyway). I loved that in SWTOR you could visit a leaderboard of houses. I know in New World they are going to let you vote on houses and the highest voted in any area is actually seen by the public, which is really cool.

I mainly play ESO for its housing and everything I do revolves around me decorating or making money to buy a house or furnishings. I wish there was more "end game" for housing. Making houses have more function, be able to be seen by the community. I could go on for hours about all the cool things housing could do and how it would benefit the game, but I think its all lost on deaf ears.

I've wanted them to take it one step farther. I would like to see a drop down menu where we can click on a house and get a list of players that have that house. Click on one and off we go to visit. Players would have to opt in to share their homes.

That would be one huge list. I don't see how that could possibly work as a dropdown menu.

I agree - I'd love to have the functionality of things like PTF baked into the game itself. It's frustrating to have multiple homes all decorated and people can't see them unless they have an add on - which people sometimes can't or won't do.

I didn't provide details here like I have it the past. In other posts I suggested when you click on a house name there be a tab that when opened would give you maybe 15 players to choose from. You could select from that list or recycle to get another 15 random names.
Going on a tangent it would also be nice if we had a tab where we could type in a players name or part of a players name (kind of like how sending mail works) and we could see a list of all the houses they have shared. Click on the house and away you go.
Then we need a guestbook so visitors can leave comments.

What would be great is a menu that shows all homes we have permission to visit listed in a grid. I have seen other games where they have something like this which makes it easy to visit any home on the list. It is sad to see the simplistic design we have being the fine examples Zos could have used to build something amazing.
