I am back to crashing in normal fights with full updated and triple checked drivers across my entire PC. How many years has ESO been out now? 6? This is pathetic. Replace your staff.

Everything since A Realm Reborn onwards has been top-notch.
While I wouldn't use the word "incompetence" in describing the recent coding efforts, I suspect "rushed" would be more applicable.
Remember, none of us are aware of the internal pressures existing because of management goals, COVID-19, Microsoft purchase, etc., which can have significant impact on the quality of work.
So while more stable releases are a reasonable expectation, to say a dev team is incompetent without knowing all the facts and being in a position where you're qualified to make that a call, isn't justified. A team of the smartest software programmers on earth will still not cover for prioritized management decisions that prematurely push products out the door.
On the whole, I think the staff of ESO are top-notch if not brilliantly skilled.
But these outcomes feel like there are bureaucratic / upper management decisions that don't benefit the actual game itself, and certainly appears to curtail or negate whatever QA testing should be going on.
Loads of utility is still 32 bit as 64 don't add anything.EdmondDontes wrote: »JamuThatsWho wrote: »More and more I feel like ESO needs the same treatment FFXIV got; completely nuked and rebuilt.

Yep, it's time to start over. The game is very good when it works. No other game can come close...but it doesn't work properly most of the time.
I'm still wondering why there is a 32 bit launcher still. Even when the game first came out it didn't make sense that any of it was 32 bit. I guess that should have been a clue as to how things would go. But then again, things were pretty awesome the first few years. The last couple, not so much.

Meanwhile my game runs smoother than it has for a while. No problems or crashes in any case.
Whenever i had issues like that, it was outdated addons 3/4 of the time. Drivers never helped me at all, its just something the support always automatically suggests.
Not saying you dont have problems. I do hope you get them fixed. It sucks when the game crashes all the time.

Remember when Gina promised us better updates about such issues?
Me too.
