    Came to the same conclusion.

My situation is I want to retrait my olo gloves. Bad drops I just picked up to have a usable set.

So I can pay 100 crystals to retait them both

Ive collected like 6 so far, think reconstruct is 60-65. Figure if I just run cloudrest 1-2 times and ask for junk drops like axes, swords, shields, bad trait pieces. Noone is probably going to what them anyway unless there doing the exact same thing. Might even get a piece I need to drop. I might not get it to the lowest recon cost but it will be lower than 50 ea

Maybe lower transmutaion to like 30-35 would do?

Based on the guild store prices for useless pieces in dropped sets, I'm guessing a lot of people are going to be doing the same thing in dungeons and trials for a while. But I haven't actually braved the dungeon bugs to find out.

Lol guys. Collecting sets is super easy. Right now the system is new but after a month of the stickerbook being out and doing our pledges we'll have most of the pieces for most of the sets from dungeons. Collecting the rest is a piece of cake. Heck its even easier if you manipulate the loot drop of the last boss by using a specific build or equipment.

well after 75 runs i can't still get the inferno staff of medusa, my cost is currently 27, but i can't make one... so what you call easy? lower the cost below 50 is easy, get it down to 25 is a pita

You try getting it with other builds? I don't mean using an inferno staff to get an inferno staff to drop.

My dps Ice Furnace Ice warden build that uses an ice staff for example gets shields dropped 80% of the time. My stamina nightblade that uses a bow usually get staves from the last boss. Maybe its just me and my weird luck but specific things drop far more often with specific characters of mine. I've always used that to get what I need fast. Though I've barely played the game since the newest dlc dropped cuz of work I'm sure I'll be filling my stickerbook quite fast indeed.

I will admit that 50 now seems out of line for some things. For example, it is cheaper to reconstruct a new mythic item than to change the trait on a current one. I would probably support lowering it a bit, but I am not going to lose much sleep over it.

You have to have all the piece of the set to get the cost to that point. That means every piece of armor and every weapon even if that weapon is a staff and you are a stamina build using stamina weapons.

It would seem faster to farm some crystals than collect every piece of a set if the set is large.

Edit> I just looked and some sets have 22 pieces in them since fire staff is one piece, frost staff is another, etc. The same with dagger, , one-hand ace, etc.

Some sets drop in all weights with all weapons so some sets have 30+ items.
