Crash to Desktop possibly caused by blocking

I suspect that the crashing to desktop is caused when you block.
I rarely blocked last night in Cyrodiil and did not CTD once, where previously I was crashing at least twice a night.
I also see that Stage 7 of DSA requires players to block (I do not play DSA myself) and that stage is causing a lot of crashing.
