Game performance for those on 300+ ping?

I left the game due to poor performance. I played nearly 5 years with at best 290 ping (regional Australia). I cleared most content except CR+3, flawless all classes, all but one or two dungeon trifectas......I managed with the ebb and flow of in game performance. Eventually it wasn't fun so that was it 1-2 patches ago.

I kept the pts, and so log on occasionally to see whats new.
I tried a run of vma on my stamplar testing new sets, see whats up.

What a mess, the game performance was so bad for me it is hard to describe. Desyncs were out of this world. For example, I had to block (guess) 1-2 sec before the Lurchers did their stagger/stun attack to do a successful block. Manageable. However the real issue was the game crashing so that all the textures were lost and I end up standing in the sky next to a rectangular peak with no sound and not being able to move for a period of time. Eventually moving brings me back to the wayshrine.

This happened multiple times in my vma run.

Anyway trying the vet Vatreshan Hollows, same thing. Massive desyncs.... I mean massive. Of course also crashing through textures.

I know performance can be off on the pts but the game doesnt even work for me. I dont see any posts about this from others, so I was wondering.....does anyone else have such poor performance on the pts?

Oh.. I know this has been a thing for a long while, but why are single player instances so badly performing?

It's not ping related. Things are just broken.

The pain of being in Australia sadly. My ping is 280+ ALL the time, with spikes of 999 at times of maybe 650ish. Yea, it sucks, but nothing can be done about it other than you learn to hit skills differently and learn to work with the bad lat, instead of fighting it.
I can play Final Fantasy with no issues, but also have tons of server choices so until we get our own server its not going to change.

I'm also in the Australia and honestly, it's fine.

PvE at least isn't hard enough that 250+ ping is really that much of a handicap.
PvP, don't try and run that dizzy swing. You're never gonna land that hit.

    Also Australia here.
Most of the time I find PVE fine but still can tell im lagging behind and sometime get caught out with AoE and mechanics.
Where I find it an issue is [snip], skills constantly are missed, doesn't bar swap etc.

PvP is just the worst, I never play it.

@llBlack_Heartll you're wrong on the [snip] thing.
That's where it's the least problem (except on PTS right now where it's broke)

I have completed almost all end game content on 300+ I know it can be done, I have 2 GO in pvp, its awful fighting people with this ping handicap.........

It just seems really bad for me, worse than i ever remember it on the pts at the moment. it's not encouraging me to return to the live server.

@ZOS_RachelM we were talking about the 21m parse dummy not insulting anyone.
