Timbercrow "Underwear??" - Please Change To Default Underwear Instead

EclipseTheStars
I don't care if you guys decide to say "it's working as intended", the rear-only underwear looks so out of place and doesn't fit like any underwear I've ever seen. If you refuse to make it into a thong-style underwear (if you have the costume you know what I mean) at least make it dye-able and in the style of the default "nude underwear" setting. I've seen it on these forums and reddit, nobody likes the style design.

In my opinion, it looks as if someone forgot to animate/style the entire "buttocks" area and sent it into the game without the ability to dye it or allow skins/tattoos to weave through it. The costume is excellent otherwise, but the massive hugging underwear on the rear-end only is quite the dealbreaker.

It would be easier to allow it to be dyed. There is probably some rating involved to keep it from becoming a thong. The game is rated M, but there still needs to be a decency guideline.

Yeah they need to do something about the granny panties because they completely ruin the outfit and look like they weren’t even meant to be there in the first place like the designer didn’t have time to finish the outfit or something.

There are a lot of M rated solo and "mmo" games with nudity and/or more revealing clothing, but I get what you're saying. The fact that the default underwear is already "smaller" "more revealing" is upsetting. That and the fact that if you look at what the costume is, the back-end doesn't even look like it should exist, it doesn't really connect to anything, it's "just there" - - The bottom half is essentially a decorated/enhanced loin-cloth, they don't work that way.

I agree. It's as though the entire "buttocks cell" of the outfit was left untouched. I'm *HOPING* that default skin/fur and/or unlocked skins/tattoos were "supposed to" weave through it but something went wrong. The bottom piece is essentially a thong, it shouldn't even "have panties/shorts" - - I'm not asking for a nude patch either. The outfit just looks out of place and jarring, especially on beast creatures. That and you're spending 2 months of your time just to get it in the first place, regardless if you had merits saved up in advance.

Yeah, they have to do something for this outfit ! At least giving us the dye option for this part would be a start !

the best option would be to remove the underwear entirely, the front end has a strap to prevent ***, they should apply the same to the back

the compromise would be to replace the cell on the buttocks with the default underwear, as it actually looks "like underwear"

but yeah, if nothing else, allowing a dye to blend it into skins/tatz would be something

It kind of work if you are a nord or bosmer.

You are other races or uses skins it look weird, on a Khajiit it looks like you shaved your butt for the baboon look

It looks like a diaper, or those butt pads people use in their pants.... but they forgot the pants.

Also, please remove the fur sports bra for the males. There are several costumes with his and hers versions, like Dark Shaman and Nordic Bather's Towel that allow male characters to go shirtless.

    Yes, yes, YES!

I know the Bather towel uses the standard underwear for all characters - notice that if a male Khajiit or Argonian wears it, they're still wearing their bike shorts that peek out from underneath, whereas it's not visible on other races. Why can't the Timbercrow just use the same?

And I agree so mcu habout the sports bra. The necklace is cool, but the guys need to lose the top!

What I don't understand about Timbercrow is why the back flap is smaller? To show off... granny panties? Really? If the back flap was the same size/width as the front flap it would look better and eliminate the ugly.

Or make it dyeable since my granny prefers pink. ;)

Kidding aside, I wish it inherited toon/skin color and texture.

I disagree with this. Being able to see a little hip while viewing your character from behind is a good thing. Same thing with the bike shorts idea... please, no.

The last thing we need is them ruining the good parts of the costume to cover up the flaws, rather than fixing the flaws.

This is actually a false dichotomy. ZOS has proven that their tolerance for showing skin in this area is significantly greater than what is revealed by the Timbercrow Wanderer's costume. Consider Almalexia's outfit for example:

Millions of people have viewed this much bottom area in the game without issue, nor has the game been shut down by the decency police.

I think this bottom treatment would be perfect for our costume.

Just remove them when that costume is active. Not like there are any graphics to see there anyway.

While we wait for a ZOS fix, the new Markarth achievement body paint and Ancestral Reach Greatsword complement the Timbercrow Wanderer pretty well.

Costume designed by the "Put Crotch flaps to everything"-guy, new addition to most of their creations (probably on Crown Store costumes soon too) will be these kind of unfinished granny pants parts and so on..

They MUST know based on all our feedback that we hate flaps.. so why the costume creator still keeps putting them in? I mean come on, we can show our WHOLE BODY if we just take all clothes off and walk naked.. so why the need for flaps??

When on Crown Store costume/Outfit style can atleast if many if enough say the magical word "need a refund" get things changed or fixed, like in the Neri arms pack lighting issue. Still glad they did fix that and even kinda fast. :)

BY THE WAY: To those who wanna get a laugh.. try doing /whisperingclaw emote (if you have it) while wearing this Dark Passion regalia.. i mean those flaps do NOT with laws of physics. :D

I agree. I don't think anyone is expecting nudity, but they could at least just put the default underwear underneath the outfit (like they do with the nordic towel). It would be loads better than what it looks like currently.

And also agree on the shirtless guys. I want to see more skin on dudes

I wish they'd reverse the decision to not make changes to assets. Things like this take time to acquire, at least make it worth it. Look at what they did to the hairstyle from the crates, it won't even display proper color and they say t.s., not gonna get fixed. That's real money spent too.

And it seems reasonable that they put this costume (as well as the upcoming Alliance War skill XP buff recipes) on the Tel Var merchant to encourage people to play in Imperial City more. One would think they would want to make this costume as appealing as possible to the most number of players for that reason, yet I have heard plenty of feedback, both here and in game, stating that folks are shying away grinding for this item for all the reasons mentioned in this thread so far.

I could see why they would be more hesitant to alter things that people pay cash for from the Crown Store, but this costume is basically a free item, that only costs a lot of time (50 days minimum) to obtain. Hopefully they will make it appeal to a wider audience.... I don't think I've ever heard anyone speak in favor of the granny panty/diaper look, or heard anyone state that they would prefer the sports bra over just the feather arm bands and necklace on a male character.

This isn't the way to win over more players doing Imperial City content.
