Have you made Antiquarian’s Alpine Gallery your new main home?

If you want homey consider one of these. Serenity Falls Estate, which I have decorated in a semi-country estate style. Or Proudspire Manor, which I decorated in an urban sophisticated style, with a Vampiric room on the bottom level. Or Ravenhurst, which I decorated in a simple small town home style. All of these feel very homey to me, and they are very close to Wayshrines, too, which is a big plus.

That’s why I’m in the process of making a little cabin on the rock overhang in the back. Nothing elaborate, just a place for a bed, fireplace, and place to eat. The way I’ve divided up the main house among antiquities from content didn’t really leave a spot of homier things.

I’ll post a screenshot after I get on, I think it’s coming along quite nicely.

I haven't done anything with it yet, but only because I haven't had time, and I'm not sure what exactly I want to do yet. It's a really nice home and I'll definitely be using it, but I need to get some time to play around with ideas before I start decorating.

I probably won't make it my primary for a while, not until I've got it decorated, but then it will go into my rotation. (I like to swap my primary around periodically. I don't know if anyone ever looks at any of my houses, but I periodically look at other people's houses if they're open to visitors, so maybe other people in my guilds do the same.)

Its my main house on my EU character because most if the houses I have in that account are for travel. I added curtains to the one end of the 3rd floor and turned it into a nice owner's suite.

On my main NA, I've been working on Potentate's pool area. I have an area with remembrances, a nice outdoor bedroom with tub and I'm using Vivic's bed as a pool float. That house also has mini Raz running around the pool.

Put a wayshine in it or just outside & I may think about it, but until then no!
Too few slots, too far to a wayshrine and dont want to waste 10+ secs to get to one to travel on to where I do want to travel to..

I don't have a main home any more than I have a main character. I have four of this particular home (2 accounts on 2 servers) and they are gradually being furnished as are the others (although those bought with subscription crowns as I'm not a trader and have little gold) mostly came furnished. It is a superb home, and it being partly furnished with numerous tables is a real bonus - they're perfect for displaying free statues!

Yes but mainly because is the best home I have. I do have Lunar Champion but dont care for that one to much and didn't actively play during the Psijic House event to get that one.

I do like it but as others have said its not really a home more like a gallery which im sure was the point, I do like the idea of making it a lodge or restaurant of sorts.

Funnily enough, while showing my wife (who isn't a gamer but who admires some of the houses) round it earlier, I said "You know, it would make a great real life pub or restaurant in these Covid times, with a number of separate locations where socially distanced tables could be placed" !

This will never be my main home because each of my characters already have their own main homes. And it's really not a good design for a private home.

Right now I am using it to display a lot of large items that didn't fit into my other homes. But I am thinking about turning it into a lodge with sitting areas in the lobby, and a dining room set up with buffet tables, guest rooms upstairs, and a wine tasting area on the outside deck.

I was thinking of doing the same thing and turning it into a KOA type camping retreat. You have the lodge that can be used as a welcome center/gift shop/etc. And there's space to display a lot of the interesting stuff I've collected.

I've decorated it, but will not change it to my main house, which is the Orbservatory, and although its decorations seem a bit basic nowdays, with all the cool new furnishings we have, it's still my favourite to use. However, I really loved decorating the Alpine gallery, and I think it's beautiful, and much easier to decorate than the Psijic house or the Lunar Champion hall. The main building is so big, it lends itself to myriads of uses, the outside space is generous, and having a lake/waterfall is great!

Oh gift shop. I hadn't even thought of that. Could have a section with shelves and tables and lots of fun items "for sale". Could even use the guest as the cashier!

It's a really nice property and I'll decorate it eventually but I've put way to many hours, gold and crowns into turning my Hunding's into something awesome to ever abandon it as my main.

I kept Saint Delyn Penthouse as my main housing for years on PC NA, despite acquiring many other inn rooms, apartments, cottages, and mansions. It just felt right, since I was using Vivec City as my main stomping grounds for daily crafting.

I finally switched to Captain Margaux's Place because one of my in-game friends wanted to use a transmute station but didn't have access to Clockwork City, so I bought one, put it in Captain Margaux's Place, and made that my main housing because by then I'd switched to using Daggerfall as my main stomping grounds.

Until the bug where the Snowmelt Suite and Proudspire Manor aren't accessible from the Western Skyrim map gets fixed, it might be worthwhile for players using Solitude as their main base of operations to set either of those as their main housing, since that will put it at the top of the list in Collections, Houses, making it easier to fast travel to it via Collections.

On PC EU my main housing is The Rosy Lion, but I might switch it to the Snowmelt Suite for the reason just stated.

I just got Hunding's Palatial Hall and it's my new main. I'm in the middle of decorating it and it's a beautiful home.

Antiquarian’s Alpine Gallery is nice from the outside but I'm not big fan of all the wall to wall wood on the inside. I would prefer a little stone on the bottom floors to break up the monotony. From the outside there is stone on bottom but inside it's all wood.

It's a nice free property. Interesting grounds. To be honest, when I saw it, I thought "What a good building for a flea market". Have Hundings and others that are better suited as a house.

Nope. My wood elf lives at Elden Root and enjoys her Snugpod. She has a couple nice little apartments selected for location (near wayshrines) and the Psijic palace as a warehouse. Basically, not very interested in houses that do not have a merchant and wayshrine pretty much right outside the door.

I don't think it was ever meant as a private home. With all the the platforms and tables, and even it's name, it's a great place to showcase your antiquities, and anything else you want to display. Or you can turn it into a public place, like a lodge, or restaurant, or a guild hall. The possibilities are endless.

That kind of lodge is exactly what I've been doing with mine, although with a hunting and slight Hircine theme. Not even close to done yet though because no money to spend but yeah I love the house. When it gets closer to winter I'll be adding decorations to a big pine tree I placed in one area of the main hall. Mine isn't my new main home though

Not yet. It isn't done. Any "primary" home changes as contests come and go, and I need to set the current one as primary for that purpose. But I do hope to turn it into my favorite home, in time. I'm not in love with what I've done and I'm fiddling with it.

I made a jarl-type place. The big space in the middle is the jarl hall with a big jarl chair at the end.

I used stone and wood and doors to create private quarters on the left side. This area has a jarl-study, bedroom, library, and bathroom with a toilet.

Again with stone and wood, the right side has dining, a kitchen with a cold-storage room, two guest rooms and a sitting room.

Outside I made quarters for the guards along the perimeter. This area has a place to eat, sleep, tidy up. The roof features a trebuchet. The crawlspace features a place for firewood and a chicken house.

There's a small garden in front of the house and a greenhouse out back. The greenhouse contains an "apple tree".

I'm at 532/600, so I guess I am almost done. It's not my main; I'm still using Grand Topal.

Overall the new structural recipes made this possible and I like them a lot. The house is really nice too. Thank you.

I have not, and will not, use it as a home, sonce it is not designed to be such.. it's a gallery, a meeting place.. there are no personal space, no rooms for kitchen/storage and such.. it does not feel like it was made to live in.. most of the buildings we can get, have the same issue.. I make my home in Proudspire Manor, in Solitude

No, I haven’t determined what I wish to use it for yet, but a sort of museum does seem like a natural fit. :)

My main homes as far as use goes are Sugar Bowl Suite and Snugpod because they are convenient and I like how I’ve furnished them. My primary is always the home I’m most proud as far as achieving a look or atmosphere that I was striving for. My primary has previously been the Alinor Crest Townhouse (currently undergoing some renovation) and a custom build in Moonsugar Meadow but has been my Ashfall Corner Club in humble Kragenhome for some time now. I hope to switch my primary to a Halloween-themed build soon!
