That is a fair question regarding the mechanics of the ring under the hood but it's not really a question worth asking since the ring heals based on damage done and any offensive trait will yeild a direct healing benefit which is the scenario that you would be using this ring in to begin with.
I also wondered about this since I questioned how skills that heal you based off damage done interacted with increased healing received buffs like Burning Embers, Strife morphs, Puncturing Strikes, Bloodthrist, Crushing Weapons and the like.
Positive sources seem to be additive together, negative sources seem to be additive together. Both are multiplicative with each other. Just my guess, I didn't test everything in the game.
I did one last test that left me a little puzzled:
2042 damage
On a calculator, the amount should be 202.9, not sure how it got to 209, but might have to do with how Blessed CP falls in the equation. Someone out there probably knows.
(Does not heal from proc sets that I know of).
