Great work ! I love it so far. It looks damn nice with Eso Next (RTGI v1.8b4a path tracing).

I made short video for those who have a low end PC and want to see how TESO engine + reshade + rtgi can look incredible. Enjoy !

Don't forget to put on 2160p, it's a 32/9 format video.

It isn't Markarth without Ondolemar 😭

No being grabbed by a quest the moment you step through the gates, no House of Horrors quest, DROPPED.

They did a good job of recreating it though - the team that does cities and environments has always done a good job. And Markarth's always been the best city in Skyrim because it's the most unique and dramatic. The Dwemer architecture poking from the rock and the waterfalls is *chef's kiss*

That really looks awesome, cannot wait to see it live <3<3<3

Great job from the "city & environment" team, give them a substantial pay rise ;)

On a side note, I always got lost in Markarth when I was there in Skyrim :D

looks awesome! really close to its Skyrim version.
i wish it had more NPCs though, it looks a bit empty.

Looks nice but think the render made NPC far to dark, was some out in the open who looked like they had no textures.
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

Contrast is too high in the video and the RTGI shader needs to turn the bounce vibrancy down by a lot. There is no way the fire elements like torches and sconces would be creating such a visible orange glow all over the place in such bright sunshine.

IMO this is what happens when people overdo it with shader effects from Reshade etc. Less is more.

They did a fantastic job - it is one city that really needs to be the same architecturally in both TES V and ESO what with it being stone construction from an era prior to both games - and it's really good, I knew where I was the moment I stepped through the city gate.

zenimax makes an EXACT duplicate in scale and Everything for skyrim, nice.
but for Morrowind reconstruction and build they destroyed it, it made looking at Morrowind in eso not even recognizable and uncomparable to Morrowind singleplayer game.
they Favored Skyrim over Morrowind and it's blatently obvious in looks and gameplay style.
its very insulting what they did to Morrowind. and quite honestly it's unforgivable.
