5 – When you take damage, your Spell Damage is increased by 24 for 5 seconds, stacking up to 20 times. This effect can occur once every half second. Upon reaching 20 stacks, the duration is doubled but can no longer be refreshed.
Why on earth would ANYONE ever use this set? At max stats it gives 480 spell damage for 10 seconds and that's if you take damage rather often.
Compare it to sets that give spell damage without such limiting context and it doesn't live up to those.
The set's name is Voidcaller too, was really hoping for maybe something more creative upon hearing that name. Why the heck have all the light armor sets this year been very lackluster in creativity? The most creative one is the healing frost circle one, at least it does a cool effect. You're telling me with a name like Voidcaller they couldn't think of a more interesting effect than 'ah, just increase spell damage whenever u take damage'. It lasts for so little that it doesn't matter. It doesn't even proc off of self damage either I dont think.
Really struggling to see the purpose of this item set and honestly kinda wanted to screech about how a set called Voidcaller does literally nothing cool or something that makes you go 'man that dude is using the voidcaller set'.
Considering it gives HP it vaguely feels like a somewhat half-done attempt at trying to make ANOTHER magicka tanking set, but even then why such a pointless effect? Tanks dont need spell damage.
