World Map

I gave up on mods, so I start to get used to using the world map. Little ridicoulos that I sometimes I need to use it every 4-5 seconds if I am in a maze like territory, but it's how this game works.. The group finder doesn't work for me for days, Cyrodiil is a joke now, but I could still find fun in overland stuff. Clearing world bosses and dwelves. My problem is that the map in the game is a *** blind map, means totally useless in 99% of the time. Is there any way I can learn where are the content in different regions? I really don't want to "explore" walk every damn square meter in Tamriel to find stuff, I just want to know where are bosses and dwelves I haven't completed yet. I want to do it without addons. I wanted to install some when I returned to the game, but when I realized that even my addons require addons to work I just deleted them all as it is ridicoulos.

Edit- popular mods should be brought into the base game, managed and updated by ZOS.

The time spent fixing your mods will save you time in the end; mods are gamechanging but optional.

Just last night I played on my brother's gaming set-up with no mods. He has a couple of extra monitors, so the game plays on one, i had a movie playing on another screen, and on the third I had a webpage open showing a map of what I was hunting (psiijic portals).

My brothers set up was great, but its easier just to have working mods.

#1 tip (Re)check your graphics settings periodically - especially resolution.

If you don't want to use addons you can always use a companion app on your phone/tablet. There are some great ones out there with maps of the zones complete with dungeon locations etc. Fan wikis and sites have all that information too.

Otherwise, exploration is a big part of the fun in open world games imo  I hate it when maps show you were all the undiscovered locations are, cluttering it up with POIs and giant question marks. I like big blank spaces I need to fill in myself so I can see where I haven't explored yet. I'm glad that's the default setup for the game, and addons / companion apps are there to do the opposite if you prefer.

Sounds great, but I play only on one monitor. I thought about more like something ingame solution, like talking to an NPC and buy the complete map of the area from him with gold, or any similar stuff. TBH I would even pay it real money..

I am stupid.. This sounds so simple and I had no idea to use my mobile as a map, yet.
