Does Character Creation Need Updated? Why or why not?

Yes, it could use an update
ESO should do exactly what they do in Fallout. There's a short, maybe 10 min intro quest. Then just as you're ready to go out into the world, you get the final check screen for stats, skills, and appearance. For those who want to skip the intro quest, you just end up on the final screen before starting. But you'll also miss seeing your character in action before finalizing your looks. That's why the intro quest should very short, basically just to give you a chance to see your character move around in the world.

Of course more hair styles, colors, etc, would be nice.

The voice preview should include the noise your character makes when they start sprinting on their mount. I once had to remake a high elf character after hearing the sound she made, ugh.
And yaaaas to better lighting, being able to tweak the look after the starter quest, and no more gender-locked things. And pretty much everything else that’s been suggested.

It's OK at the moment - but I certainly wouldn't say no more options and control over it.

To agree with many others, the things I most would like to see:
    1. Better lighting
    2. Access to account unlocks (hair, markings, accessories, etc)
    3. Color options for accessories independent of hair color. Please, please, please let us have gold jewelry with black hair or silver jewelry with red hair if we want. This minor thing is actually one of the biggest obstacles I've had in being satisfied with some of my characters.
    4. Move scales and fur patterns to their own category so we can use body markings. So many things I'd love to use on an argonian but I can't because after it removes the scale overlay, everything looks hideous.
    5. Better voice examples (include all voice sources including mounted and cycle through them instead of repeating grunts at random

I've played other games where they have the suggestions other players have suggested. Such as bought/unlocked appearance items (skins, hair, etc.) and the option to change appearance (in some cases class/jobs) after the tutorial.

As for lighting issues, I've seen some games offer to put your toon in the open wild so you can see how they would look in the world light and not from the lighting source of the rooms we're currently in.

My biggest complaint is my Nord. In the editor he looks great, but once he's in the real world he looks like a cross-eyed hillbilly that makes the folks from the movie Deliverance look like Brad Pitt.

I would Like to see more "emotional" face availability. My main guy looks pissed off all the time for some reason, I don't see why he's a Breton lol.

I really really really wish they would let us change some things in-game by using gold, like a shop to change hair color/style*, and maybe even makeup for those who wear it.

*I know we can change style by collectibles, but that's basically a "costume". Whenever you put on a Disguises from one of the missions it shows your toon as they truly are, and still have the original hair style you chose in the editor.

You will still have to buy a token to change major appearances.

YES. I forgot about that, but it really bums me out how certain items are forced to be silver or gold because of your hair colour. Let me choose my own metal colour! Also, why are horns on Bosmer and Orsimer considered facial hair? Why can't I have horns with a beard? Or horns and eyelashes? Why can't makeup and scars be separate?

I'd like this as well. I have a few clones of a character I like and taking pictures of all the sliders and stuff gets tedious at times, especially when flipping back and forth between between the game and the picture.

It would be so much easier if we could even just have numbers for the different points along the sliders so I wouldn't keep having to squint and guess as to how far along the bar I really am sometimes. Save options would be even better!

Ha yeah I agree with you. Sadly, ZOS has already commented on it and said they don’t have any intentions of adding any type of “beauty shop.” I guess then they can’t horde cosmetics for endless months and release them to make that extra money.
