The Elder Scrolls Online v6.1.4 is the final PTS patch before Stonethorn and Update 27 is released on August 24. Additional fixes and adjustments have been made to the Stonethorn dungeons, housing features, a fix for looting containers not working properly, and more. The size of this final patch is approximately 98MB. Thanks to everyone for all your submitted feedback and reports!

    • Castle Thorn
      • General
        • The entrance to Castle Thorn is now easier to interact with.
      • Dread Tindulra
        • Consuming Inferno will no longer remove some player-placed abilities.
        • Fixed some animation-related issues with Dread Tindulra’s Lunge ability.
      • Blood Twilight
        • The Death Recap icon for Blood Slash now more accurately depicts the attack.
        • The Blood Twilight will now act less erratic when taking damage.
      • Lady Thorn
        • Fixed various visual effects related to player abilities and Lady Thorn when she is flying.
        • Lady Thorn will use her Scatter and Incursion abilities much less frequently on Normal difficulty.
    • Stone Garden
      • Arkasis the Mad Alchemist
        • Arkasis has tweaked his Scalding Solution formula by adding a pinch of Unctuous Fungal Grease, making the effect a bit stickier and causing it to now be immune to player removal abilities.
        • Fixed an issue where Caustic Cannonade could be cast by two Stone Husks simultaneously.
        • The Stone Husk's Swipe melee attack now casts 25% faster, and the damage has been decreased slightly.
        • Stone Husks no longer enter into a CC immune state after being hit by the stun effect from Bonecrusher or Lead the Pack.
        • Fixed an issue with the Stone Husks' Volatile Gloomspore ability that would sometimes clip off the final frames of the casting animation.
        • Werewolf Behemoth (Bestial Transformation) Form
          • Bonecrusher now deals more damage, and the cooldown has been increased.
          • Bonecrusher no longer triggers a 14 second CC immunity on targets that recover from the stun effect.
          • The animations for Bonecrusher and Mutilate now play correctly.
          • Tremor area effects now move along the ground faster, and the radius of influence has been increased.
          • Tremor, Bestial Frenzy, Rampage and Hircine’s Howl now generate less Ultimate.
          • Bestial Rage, the synergy provided by Lead the Pack, now generates more ultimate.
          • Lead the Pack now stuns enemies in addition to dealing damage. The stun effect functions the same way the stun from Bonecrusher functions and will not trigger CC immunity on targets hit.
        • Made the following changes after raising the Challenge Banner (Hard Mode):
          • Scalding Solution now deals less damage per tick against all targets.
          • While Scalding Solution is now immune to player removal abilities, it will still produce a Scorching Spray area effect when the duration concludes.
          • Added an additional visual screen effect to your character when a Stone Husk begins to cast Murderous Mark on you.
          • Increased the damage of The Stone Husk's Volatile Gloomspore and Caustic Cannonade.
          • Slightly decreased the maximum health from Arkasis.
          • Increased the Stone Husk’s maximum health.

    Item Sets
    • Elemental Catalyst:
      • Reduced the Critical Damage Taken per stack to 3%, down from 5%.
      • Reduced the duration of the stacks to 3 seconds, down from 5 seconds.
      Developer Comment:
      Currently, the amount of Critical Chance in the game is relatively high for builds that aren't even specializing in it. You can easily obtain a large amount from passive sources rather than active or choice based sources (such as choosing Precise over Nirnhoned) resulting in this set being incredibly powerful across all levels. Our original intention was to let this set naturally balance itself once we do a larger pass on Critical Strike sourcing in the game, but after seeing much of the discussion on the set, we've decided to balance it around our current situation; in the future once we have a better balance all together with Crit, we’ll go back and adjust this set if need be.

      Additionally, the duration of this set made it too easy for builds to keep up without making active decisions around, such as running different enchantments, sets, or running it on specific classes that have a hybrid of damage sources. With the 3 second duration, it will now be much more difficult to keep the buff up 100%, unless built for accordingly, rather than just activating Force Pulse here and there.

    • Fixed some incorrect requirements for obtaining the Opal Ilambris Mask.

    Multi-Rider Mount
    • Updated the error messaging for attempting to use a mount as a passenger to properly inform you when the target is not using a group mount.
    • You will no longer be dismounted when attempting to ride a group mount as a passenger while already mounted, and instead, an error message will be displayed.
    • Fixed an issue where the passenger on a Multi-Rider Mount would sometimes take fall damage when hitting water.

    • Fixed an issue where opening up a container and looting its contents would not always destroy the correct container when multiple are present your inventory. This also fixes the issue where a container (such as the Tester's Infinite Transmutation Geode) could have no items in it when opened, leading to issues with properly using a templated character's granted inventory of containers.

    General
    • Fixed an uncommon issue that could result in other players being temporarily unable to edit or interact with your furnishings when more than one of your homes was occupied at once.

    Character Pathing
    • It is now easier to select path nodes when placed on a ceiling or slightly sunken into the floor.
    • Fixed a rare issue where pathing characters would not move between nodes that were perfectly above or below each other.
    • Made a number of small performance optimizations for Character pathing.
    • Fixed a rare issue that could allow a character to path away while someone was in the middle of talking to them. How rude!

    Furnishings
    • Centered the selection point for several Solitude walls.
    • Sealed a small hole in the interior of the “Music Box, Subterranean Sonata”, and corrected an issue that caused a small hitch in the closing animation.
    • Improved the resolution of the stone textures for the “Castle Thorn Gargoyle” furnishing.

    Homes
    • Improved the accuracy of the collision in parts of Stillwaters Retreat, making it easier to place furnishings flush with the walls.
    • Sealed a small gap in one of the walls of Stillwaters Retreat.
    • The doors inside Stillwaters Retreat now have the appropriate bronze textures, and no longer appear to be a glimpse into the inscrutable abyss.
    • Fixed an issue that could interfere with naturally unlocking the map pin for Stillwaters Retreat prior to purchase.
