✭What i believe they are really doing is addressing the out of control cheating that was systemic in this game. They are doing it smart: quietly and incrementally. Other than cheating what is the rationale for moving almost everything server side? Stadia? Google servers emulate the client so not sure that would be a benifit to zos. I expect this will result in a bit slower game overall but a much fairer game and im kinda looking forward to it.
