I loved the responses from the original post!!!
So now let’s do the OPPOSITE.
Let’s all share something we’re glad is gone and not coming back.

Back in my day...the dungeon bosses dropped helmets very rarely. Thank goodness we get them every time.

What about you guys?

Back in my day, the VR1 Mudcrabs in your first Cadewll's zone would kill you dead. As a result, absolutely everything took bloody forever.

Oh wait, stuff we're glad thats not coming back? The original weapon stances during beta looked silly before they had their makeover.

Getting brutally mauled by mudcrabs in the veteran days.
So they raised the floor and lowered the ceiling. Except the ceiling has spikes in it now and the floor is also lava.

I kind of liked the option to do challenging overworld content.

What I don't miss is sharpened being the only viable trait and not being able to transmute.

People now complain about having to farm bsw inferno for ages. Just imagine how long it would take people back when there were no trait changes. ^^

back in the day...................researching crafting took 18 months at least

    no crafting bag

leveling your mount was 1 of 3 types daily forever

character and bank storage were at a minimum
which in my case caused me to have multiple characters
specializing in a skill IE enchanter, cook, alchemist and in my case
a single character for smith, woodworker and clothier.

Still have them to this day..............................btw I started in September 2013

Back in the days a DK Emperor (vamp) could have several Ultis going the same time. I think least 6 bat swarms could be acquired killing everyone instantly.

Back in my day DPS = time spent grinding CP. When the average was 400 CP there'd be the one dude with 1600 CP that would out parse everyone just by spamming one skill. So glad that's long gone.

Yes and at one point you exterminated vamps by silver bolts. One shot at a vamp and boom.

Back in my day horses (there were no other mounts) had to be purchased on a per-character basis and trained individually. Not only that, it was impossible to get one horse with 60 in every stat, you had to choose one stat to have at 60 and the others would be 50 maximum...except for the brown, white and palomino horses which could only ever reach a maximum of 50. Oh, and the horses best stat was tied to it's colour, so if you wanted 10 extra inventory slots you'd better get used to the paint horse because you'll be seeing it a lot.

I know it was only changed to facilitate selling mounts in the crown store, but even so I'm glad that system is gone. Players complain about how long it takes to fully train your mount now, but at least you only have to do it once per character and then it applies to any mount you feel like using, including any new ones you get in future.
