✭✭✭✭After the glorious Monday maintenance that got stretched from 4 to 14 hours with no explanation I decided not to renew my yearly subscription. Throwing money at a company [snip] is not justified at this point. It just encourages this kind of reckless behavior during maintenance, combined consistently bad performance (it took 4 years for them to realize that AOE was causing lag in Cyodiil WTF!) and half arsed yoyo style balancing ever 3 months is just too much to bear.

cyberjanet✭✭✭✭✭PC-NA is a problem too. I tried logging in there first, and was told my account was inactive or my password was wrong and I should try logging in through Steam. Logging in through Steam times out. I haven't even tried EU yet.Favourite NPC: Wine-For-All

Yeah, it's past the point where I will recommend the game to my friends. Last year, I was still "It's a great game, but there are performance issues" This year, I tell them straight, "Don't bother".
I love this game but now ,there are only three things holding me here:
1) I still have friends ingame that haven't bailed out yet
2) I have so much time invested in it and my 13 alts
3) There is no alternative yet that has such a mix of Combat, MMO, Questing, Crafting. Housing and RPG.

Every single of me friends that return into game after long break literally quit game again after trying to play it for 1 week. Thats itself unbiasly showing state of game.3 -

Those "oh its only 50p" people are not saying that as a response to the servers being down. They say that as a response to the whiners asking for compensation. No one here is defending ZOS.
