Acting like people shouldn't expect to get in because the THIRD EXTENSION of the maintenance ended a bit earlier than announced is ridiculous.

Anyone notice how 9 out of 10 times it's the EU? The one remaining time is NA and EU.

It's an exageration of course, I know NA had some problems that EU did not, but not much, you got to admit.

The first log-in after a patch is always going to be long due to the database updating (length is dependent on the number of characters you have, and as I've noticed, how many different accounts you have, which increases the number of characters being updated).

How long are you guys getting stuck? Is it endless, or just multiple minutes?
Is everyone just hyper-sensitive to waiting, after waiting all morning, or is there actually a problem?

There is no patch today, it's just 3 times more players than usual trying to log on at the same time.

Have been attempting to log in since they updated to say COMPLETE over half an hour ago. Have not made it to the Character Request screen even once yet. No error message. Just sits and sits and sits and sits and after about 5 min or so kicks me back to the Account log in.
I have multiple folks in my guild reporting the same issue, only a couple have seen a character load screen and of the folks currently on, only one has reported actually logging in. the rest of us so far can't even get to the Character screen.

There is DEF still a problem. Even 'omg everyone is trying to log in all at once' issues give me SOME sort of time-out or error message. Right now? nothing at all.

There is a problem. I logged in immediately and made it in after 5 minutes of 'Requesting Character Load" before the rush. Then my game crashed so now I'm with everybody else. People who made it in before the rush took off had a long wait but made it. The current situation is that you get 'Requesting Character Load' for 5-10 minutes and then get kicked back to login screen. So unfortunately not just a matter of waiting, but retrying.
I also doubt it's related to amount of characters, since reaching the character select screen is instead and loading one is where the issue pops up. It is however not something ZOS can just 'fix', and the idea of another maintenance is silly. It's because everybody is trying to login at the same time and no matter if now or later, it's a bump we need to wait to get over.

Patience, go make a coffee or grab a beer and chill. Everyone trying to log in at same time after a longer than usual maintenance, there is bound to be problems.

We are currently investigating issues some players are having logging into the European PC/Mac megaserver. We will update as new information becomes available.

Perhaps it would be a quicker character load process if we didn't all choose characters placed in Summerset...

Though I'm guilty of that as well...

All my characters are parked in Vaardenfel in front of the Daily Crafting Writ Board. Maybe that's just me.

I don't tweet and I'm not dumb enough to think I will get instant access when the thousands of players in the game all try to log in at the same time.

People need to either grow up or get a grip. It's just a Game. There is NOTHING here that is worth stress, anger or outrage.

Waiting a bit so the servers can handle the load is common sense. You are not going to miss Anything.
