OP said they run into the enemy team purposely to die to get the game over with more quickly. That’s throwing a game on purpose. My suggestion is to try and not just feed the other team just because it’s a game mode you personally don’t enjoy. or take up my offer for free wall repair kits.

No need to intentionally throw the game by running around feeding the enemy that is winning. Battlegrounds are pretty manageable pre 50 anyway so you won't need to have some super PvP character to make a dent (assuming your crafters aren't all level 50).

not only that. there is a heck of a difference between deliberate sabotage of a dungeon, vs being farmed because you are not set up for pvp, but are essentialy cajoled into it to GET BACK THE QOL ability you used to have acess to for YEARS without "ruining" it for other people.

If you feel that it’s that much of a QoF change take it up with ZoS. Personally I have no issue preparing properly for the kind of content I’m engaging in crafting mule or otherwise. If you queue for BGs at least try. I’m not asking a lot. Don’t feed. Don’t throw the game just because it’s a game mode you don’t personally enjoy.

Mine... sit in a single zone to do writs daily as effeciently as possible. They don't need rapids for that. Wild Hunt ring etc are on a single char for farming because... I can only farm on one at a time anyway?
Either way you're gonna level up way quicker zerg surfing.

Look, I get it. ESO is my first MMO ever, and I'm here because I like the Elder Scrolls series. I never really liked playing multiplayer games, and especially not playing against other people. My version of a good day is one where I can just run around questing and RPing myself, and not have to run into anyone. PvP is something that I don't need in my life at all.
And yet, there's stuff gated behind PvP: The Warhorn ultimate. The nice dyes from the Alliance ranks. All of the Cyro skyshards and quests. The Battlegrounds outfit styles. (Oh, and the rapids skill that I only ever used in Cyrodiil, but nowhere else)
So during MYM, I went for it. Was I good? No. Not at all. But I stuck to low pop campaigns or tried to show up to forts that my alliance was taking (several times I got the AP from a capture since I managed to ride in range of the fort just before it fell. I took no damage, I did no damage, but I still got the credit.) Sometimes I even ended up in a group to go farm more AP.
Besides, you can even get AP from doing the PvE quests in Cyrodiil. I spent most of my MYM to hammer out all of the Cyrodiil PvE quests. If you go to a low-pop campaign, then it's really easy to do the quests without getting bothered. You may even be able to campaign hop if you take some of the lesser-used ones, so you can find one where your alliance already controls the map.
And it doesn't take long to do. I went from Support/Assault rank 0 to 10 during the event. Yes, that was with the 2x buff, but even cutting that in half leaves me at rank 8. Getting to rank 5 takes 100k AP, which can be done without much trouble over a few days.
Yeah, there are times that it's not fun, like when you're getting ganked at a quest objective and you have to run all the way back. But it's not always like that. I even found that I enjoyed the battlegrounds a bit - not that I'd do them all the time, but it wasn't like going to the dentist (I only played the land grab and capture quests, not deathmatch). I even managed a few kills, even though I'm kitted out as a PvE tank with the associated low DPS. And I'm still really proud of the fact that I managed to get the Best Defense achievement from landing three killing blows while carrying the chaosball - I thought that was physically impossible.
So I get it, it's not fun to do something you don't want to do. But sometimes you can have a bit of fun trying something else. I know I wasn't planning on doing dungeons or even joining a guild, but I did and I'm liking that a new part of the game has opened up to me. And yeah, it's 100% all because I want to unlock certain cosmetic things to go back and solo RP.
I suggest trying it. And if you don't like it, just unlock what you want and then never look at it again. I know I'm not touching PvP until the next MYM since it's still not my favorite way to play, but I'm now finding out that there's a Reachmen-looking costume coming to the IC for merits, so I have another character I'm sending in to get a merit a day so I can have enough by that time. Same strategy though - find a low pop campaign, go at off hours, and do my PvE stuff while I can without being bothered by others.

If Ever I see you on the battle field I will be ready to Sheathe my weapon, walk up to you while putting on my fancy costume and have a Emote off right there on the spot. The loser will have to strip naked with the Melancholy personality and then feed the enemy.

how about unintentionally? because sometimes we feed the enemy just by being there and TRYING to contribute. and please do not start with "you should prepare your character for pvp" its CRAFTING MULES.
