New Moon's Acolyte (PVP)

New Moon Acolyte: Reduced the Weapon and Spell Damage granted from this set’s 5 piece bonus to 401, down from 481.
"This was done to make up for the fact that the resource cost increase penalty can be easily alleviated in group settings by having allies supply you with sets or synergies."

Seriously? You are really gonna nerf one of the biggest alternatives to the stupid proc cancer meta next patch and give such a lame excuse for it? Everybody knows you're trying to make pvp easier for the casuals, by turning it into a mindless and braindead proc meta where killing takes zero effort, instead of encouraging them to get better at the game by making skilled play more rewarding. Introducing all the new broken proc sets and buffing already overperforming sets like caluurion is bad enough already, now you have the audacity to nerf the biggest contender procs. I'm really concerned about your vision for ESO's pvp.

You're not the only one. ZOS always was lacking subtlety, they buff old procs and introduce new ones like they'd be on amphetamine, and next patch they nerf one of the few good alterantives claiming it's about group synergy. LOL. They treat us like idiots...
    Say no to Toxic Casuals!
I am doing my best, but I am not a native speaker, sorry.

"Difficulty scaling is desperately needed. 9 years. 6 paid expansions. 24 DLCs. 40 game changing updates including A Realm Reborn-tier overhaul of the game including a permanent CP160 gear cap and ridiculous power creep thereafter. I'm sick and tired of hearing about Cadwell Silver&Gold as a "you think you do but you don't"-tier deflection to any criticism regarding the lack of overland difficulty in the game." - @AlexanderDeLarge

To make it comparable to other sets getting nerfed it should be 450 since it can't be frontbarred ( carried over to backbar by buff ).. but then again spell strat should be 500 since it's only a single target and doesn't affect your heals and succession 550 since it's elemental and 600 with silks of the sun since it's elemental and can't be frontbarred and both of those don't affect healing either, burning spellweave should have less of a cooldown like 8 or 9 seconds and scathing should have a removed proc both at 450 spell damage as well.

Proc sets have always annoyed me in the game, it seems it will be worse now.

Remember, they do not think about PvP when they make these changes.

The set changes are to make them more viable in PvE, along with nerfing the current meta sets.

For the same reason as PvP, a set that procs off one Light Attack for 20k damage is more useful for a completely new player than Relequen where you need to keep up 15/20 stacks by Light Attack weaving.

The logic for this change doesn't make sense. You could use that logic to nerf any set... Any buff provided by another person will inherently make you stronger. That is the point of support sets. Now, why would someone use this set... Why not just increase the cost increase if there are sustain concerns?

Or maybe if they are concerned with how this set performs within a group setting, they should add an effect to the 5 piece that does the reverse of harmony. Like decrease the effectiveness of synergies by X%.

If they added "Increase cost by 5% and Decrease synergy effects by 10%" They could actually buff it to 500.. if only.

Yes let's diminish a set used by many in nearly every situation because in -one- situation it's downside can be countered.

Reminds this one of old days, when haphazard and willy-nilly changes were inflicted due to wild-hair syndrome.

You aren't wrong IMO, their changes to NMA don't match any of their "math" on charts for stats. If 5% cost reduction is 'worth' 101 spell damage over something like Hundings/Julianos, then according to their math, Orc/Elf spell damage bonuses should be about 160 now instead of 275. Or other races, Like Breton should have like 10%ish cost reduction instead. And it doesn't mesh with other sets balance wise either. I can drop NMA on my in pvp on some builds and run Inn. Axiom for same buff and zero cost increase, or even War Maiden for 500 and we already know there are procs with almost 100% uptime now that give 500+ damage bonuses.

Exactly , it's a long time that players are concerned about future of pvp with proc sets and they still making this stupid changes , and with even worse excuses . group gives you sustain so we gonna ruin the set for solo players . you know about solo players ZOS ? cuz despite your best efforts to kill them they still exist .
every patch they add more and more brain dead proc sets like Venomous smite and players ask them to stop it but they nerf only alternatives to proc sets .
it just shows how disconnected they are from their own community

PPL... anyone of you play for example WoW from start, before Lich King?? They need change game for new player... new player must have "fun" from play... parents buy game for kids, kids don't need use brain but they generate alot of money income. All change must give +$ income, noone create game for fun where you don't get cash as developer (more, more, more cash). That how work capitalism... if you see on OLD game (10-15+ years back) and game what you get now it's somthing like 10-15+ year ago "use brain, no brain, no play" and now "use $, you don't need brain". Kids get cash from parents and they need have fun from game... if they have fun they will pay more $. Capitalism...
