I'm an Australian player that has been playing since beta but took a break a couple of years ago as it just felt too hard to be at the level with 250 ping constantly
I came back to the game because of BFB and Thrassian stranglers as they were an interesting risk reward way of being at the top end of dps without relying on perfect animation cancel timings but I understand they were overturned and need a nerf (not a nuke, please remove heal lock-out change).
I love this game and the content.but have always been put off by the clunky and demanding combat which is multiplied by high ping. My biggest hope is that ZOS will implement the spell buffering system that so many other games use.
At the moment, you press a button and then wait for a point in the animation to cancel said animation with a light attack or another spell, with the buffering system, you press a spell and then start pressing light attack at a point through the animation and the animation cancels when it can to start the next anination with obvious supplementary systems like priority skills like bar swap or block.
This would reduce the clunkiness of combat, improve the performance of the lower end players and overseas players but still leave the carrot on the stick for the elitist players that want every last point of dps on an iron golem.
Also please remove the heal debuff on BFB and nerf the damage.
