Idk why people hate streamers so much. If there's a streamer I watch, and they look like they are having fun in a game. I am more likely to buy the game. Conversely if they think the game is hot garbage then I will be more likely to dismiss it.

PVP in ESO is almost perfect, gameplay wise and wont give a damn what those "streamers" are gonna say, they aint changing my mind. It's only performance that ruins it.

In ESO content creators already tell a lot of players how to act (skills) how to dress (gear) what to eat (food/potions). When the game is designed around power fantasy and play-YOUR-way.
When high view count streamers play ESO they get followed around getting hundreds of hand outs which puts them off the game by taking away the fun of leveling and earning things for yourself.

ESO did have a handful of big name streamers; people who make a good living off sponsored streaming. Every one I know of has left due to performance issues.
Its rly good that big streamers start playing eso but problem is when they experiance tons of lags, connection issue, bugs or even that content pve is just a joke it will make bad marketing for eso where there are 10k or more viewers.
Also incoming boost crates by zos with radiants apex mounts for summit and shroud to promote buying crates(im sure zos will do it XD)

Yeah but you said you've only known a couple? There are tons of people making a good living off of streaming this game. I say that as a person who watches twitch adamantly.
Edit: and I dont even watch ESO as much as other games.
A lot of people have narrow minds it seems. Streaming is marketing and why ZOS has a stream team. And ones playing on their own free will is opportunity when they have lots of viewers. Especially when their viewers came from a competing MMO. Streaming is big business which is why you have Twitch, Amazon, and YouTube all fighting for the top streamers. To ignore that because "I dont watch them," "I dont know anyone doing it," or "they don't tell me what to do" is very obtuse
