    Someone basically didn't read the patch notes properly is what happened.

    It only procs within 8m range now and damage type has been fixed to damage over time instead of direct damage (which could happen on occasion). It has reduced chance to proc burning also. So the bugs where it would proc off damage at range and would apply burning too frequently, and damage type was recorded incorrectly have been fixed. Major nerf, I'm sure you agree /s
