Can the Ruby Dragon Skull antiquity please be resized?

The first image was taken from ZOS's antiquities promo video. The second was taken in my house. I realize that the first was accomplished through forced perspective, but can this antiquity please be resized so that it's bigger than the size of like, a hamster skull?

UPDATE: The second picture below is from an older official antiquities promo. "Leprechaun" is not a race in this game, so given that the bottom picture was NOT using forced perspective, one could only have assumed that the ruby skull was in fact supposed to be larger than how it actually appears ingame.

The first one I found I thought it should be bigger. Then I put it in a bowl of blood at my vampires home and it fit about right.

I've been posting in the forums from time to time that I would like a slider we can use on each furnishing to increase of decrease the size by a certain percentage. Don't know if it is even feasible but I still ask.
and then the parrot said, "must be the water mines green too."

Whoever took that first picture has to be a real estate agent. Forced perspective is a common trick to make things look bigger than they are.

And yes, please. The poor thing is tiny.

I love small things, i wish we had more of them. BUT Ruby Dragon Skull should not be this small. We can't see its beauty, it looks like a red spot in a display case, and on the table - whatever you do with it. I wish it was at least twice bigger.

My initial impression was that it was small as well. Then I realized that it's meant to be carved from an actual ruby. If you think about it, gemstones do tend to be small.

I've seen this at a friend's house - he also has a huge mammoth skull hanging on the wall he dug up and that would seem a more fitting size for a dragon skull than this gerbil's head-bone.

Not everything in home decor has to be massive.

It's a very nice finishing touch to a desk or fireplace.

I was a little disappointed too when I saw its actual size, yes it doesn't have to be massive, but a little closer to what it was made to look like in the promotional picture would be nice.
Its so small that it isn't worth the furniture slot for me... (700 is still not enough)

It's a dragon-skull? Which, by defintion, should be the size of a large rock at least.

Don't see many gerbil sized dragons running around elsweyr or, later, in Skyrim for that matter.

But aesthetics is personal so we can agree to disagree.

But wouldn't it actually be too big then? Looks like it's as big as the char's hand, or even bigger. That would be really uncommon for a ruby.

Come back when every new furnishing you wanna place requires you to get rid of another. You start with replacing spoons, but once you've reached the point where you can only replace trees and statues, you think more critically about an antiquity's size.

I'm not an expert, but I believe there are some larger stones found occasionally. Incredibly rare and value of course, which I imagine is what makes this one appropriate as a special antiquity as opposed to the regular sized ones that are destined for nothing more than jewelry.

Hey I wouldn't be opposed to an entirely separate item that's just scaled up.

But the fact is many people are using the skull already because it is small.

The biggest ruby ever found and carved into sth is this one:

The "liberty bell ruby". But it's a real exception. Even the other size-record rubies are much smaller. Of course you could say it's a fantasy game, so the rubies on Nirn might be bigger - but then the skull could also be a bit bigger altogether ;)

    Totally agree with OP,

DRAGON skull should be at the very least the same size a large dog/small horse skull (even if representing a juvenile dragon) after all this is a Tamriel renowned artefact, not a trinket from a souvenir shop.
The current size of what should be a very desirable artefact is very underwhelming :(

    New artefact plz.

I guess the gaming dice item should also be made the size of a rugby ball, right?

And the dragon skull in question is an ornate decoration/symbol of worship made by presumably human dragon cultists.

So honestly, I am not sure why the size baffles people.

Pie King's outfit is as follows:

    - Dwarf-style Mage's Hat, from storm atronach crates
    - Long Patriarch Beard
    - Wedding Suit for the clothes
    - Cadwell axe/dagger outfit style for the weapons
    - all covered (well, except for the beard) in the Holiday: Heritage of Maple dyestamp, which was in the crown store around Canada Day a few years ago, although I didn't see it in there this year.

    Glad you like it!

I believe it's supposed to be a giant ruby carved into the shape of a dragon's skull, which is why it's small. I think most people see it this way, but I saw a couple of comments from people who thought it was supposed to be an actual baby dragon's skull, so I thought I'd post.

    Yeah,
I imagined it being like the Damien Hirst diamond encrusted skull "For The Love Of God", with the ruby dragon skull being a full sized cast of a skull encrusted in Rubys with some big ass gems in the eye sockets.

It's so small it feels like a cheap souvenir. I was let down too.

In general I think we should have an option to resize our furntiures (e.g. +- 50%) even if it would mean downgrading textures when scaling them up.

Well, those are the chromium-dotted aluminium oxide crystals that are accessible to us. They form in depths that are too hot for us or our technology. What we mine are the fragments carried up by tectonic movement. So yes there could be homungous, dragon-skull sized rubies right now somewhere beneath us, but we don't have the means to recover or even just find them. That would require... magic?

As for the size, it's okay for me, maybe a be bit larger, but certainly not life-size. Problems finding a gemstone of that size aside, it would be quite impractical as a piece of art. In this size you'd expect a statue or bust not just a giant skull.
