Yeah that is a claim that will certainly be taken seriously by everyone who reads this thread.
Totally agree, the amount of people I've helped. Anyone who is beating it in an hour is either a god or full of poop. I'm leaning towards the latter

Ask my guildies if I am a God.

Question: what does your divinity have to do with your inability to unlock rapids?
deLioncourt wrote: »then why change it at all?
Vigor: This ability is now first in the skill line to unlock, and has swapped places with Rapid Maneuvers in efforts to help builds focused on Stamina to have a healthier leveling experience.

And that is the real discussion. Not is x more necessary than y, or circular "no you" conversation, but why is this change being made?Vigor: This ability is now first in the skill line to unlock, and has swapped places with Rapid Maneuvers in efforts to help builds focused on Stamina to have a healthier leveling experience.
Stamina builds benefit directly from the option to unlock vigor early; the change isn't intended for anyone else, it's in favour of enabling stamina builds. The counter argument "but my time", or "what about my mag toons" don't play into it at all, unfortunately. ZOS clearly see rapids as a PvP-centric skill, moreso than vigor, in which case they should probably move vigor out of the Alliance skill lines. Or, to truly make sense and offer the best levelling experience by their own logic, have both rapids and vigor be the first skills under assault and support respectively.

All this back and forth and in the end you end up agreeing with me.
smh

Not a fair comparison. With the rapids change there is a chance you could lose a skill you have had access to for a long time. For your comparison to work they would have to actually take away your weapons and only give them back after you complete the final round.

Ok. So if took away your weapons, would you be cool with it?

I have a few questions, regarding leveling this skill line and getting some rewards of the worthy (for geodes) as someone that's never done PVP and doesn't have a dedicated PVP set. I've only ever been to Cyro to visit the golden vendor and do delves. I hear that finding a zerg and following it around for an hour or two is the way to go. I guess my question is, how do I get in on that action? Are there certain things to look for that'll give me an indication where the fight is? And do I have to do any initial quests to get started? Thanks!
Use zone chat and say something like "LFG"
Oh, yes. I guess that's simple. 😂👌 Thanks!

Honestly, you don't even need to do that. I mean its great if you have a group but not needed either. When I take my healer out there, in my ever-so-non-pvp-gear with magic balls of light flying all over me... (can spell *T_A_R_G_E_T* N_O_O_B* yet?), I just look at the map. I see where I battle point is. I hope on my trusty fast mount and run like heck to the spot. Join the fight. Rinse repeat. I still have fun. 😂
