Werewolf - getting attacked in town after returning to normal form

I have just been to the Shrine in Reapers March to give someone a WW bite.

I run around wacking monsters on my way back to town, but run out of juice on the way there. Back in normal form, I port to Rawl'kha and now all NPCs cower in my presence and the guards attck and kill me.

Why am I being punished for the Criminal Acts when they are not in effect? I wolfed out at the shrine and returned to normal out in the middle of nowhere.

I switch bars so WW ultimate is not showing, seems to help.

I have to use an edict or just pay off my fine. Only way I could fix it. Still get attacked though.

I was killed three times in a row. Lost my Thieves Trove goods the first time and paid off my bounty. Still got killed.

I heard changing zone also helps.

Have you tried switching to a bar without werewolf or taking it off? I can't test, at work.

I haven’t. But I feel that might just be a temporary fix. Not an actual solution. AFAIK this does not happen to Vamps or Necros who have used a Criminal Act outside of town.

We shouldn’t have to bar swap to be safe, or remove the ulti. In normal form, we should be able to walk around like any non-wolf can.

I agree. It doesn't happen to vamp or necro as I have both.

Just saying that id take a temp fix for now because it's getting expensive. If I run out of edicts guards will eat me alive. Other people still attack me after using one but at least I won't die.

Makes me not want to use werewolf because of this bug.

I have reported this bug quite long time ago, and ZOS confirmed it is a bug. I hope they fix it at some point. It is annoying af to log-off / log-in / change zone before going to a city to compleat daily quests.

How it is suppoused to be:
Transforming into WW / beeing seen by NPC in WW form or using WW skills - accumulates bounty. If no one seen you and you have no bounty on you when you go back to human form - no bounty means no reason for you to be attacked.

The bug is:
Justice system does not refresh your status. So even if you accumulated no bounty in WW form or used bounty removal edict or simply waited it over, if you are back to human form with no bounty, the game will still "think" that you are runnig arround in WW form. And ofcourse it will treat you as such. NPCs making comments about it and guards acting hostile the moment they see you.

How to solve this problem:
While we are all waiting for a patch to fix it, there is a temporal walk arround to fix it. The only way to force the game to update your status (so it would not "think" that you are running arround in WW form) is to re-log or change zone. You can log-off & log back in, or change zone (enter delve & exit, port home, or port to different zone & go back to where you were before.

This a temporar fix. Unsloting WW ulti does not work and even curing ww does not work lol.

Yes this is exactly what I had experienced. I had no bounty and was attacked over and over again. I eventually ported to my house and logged off completely
