I mean I see what they were doing with:
his set and the Perfected version now grant 52 Spell Damage per stack, up from 30.
Reduced the maximum stacks to 10, down from 20.
This allows for a quicker build up and more uptime I would venture, but honestly with the amount SP the ground aoe feels a little redundant.
Makes it much more effective overall in fights with lots of interruptions that prevent you from standing still long enough to get 20 stacks, sure..but at 520 max spell dmg..might as well wear literally anything else.
Just don’t be too quick to discount it. It might be weaker than before, but so are a lot of other sets. The damage will be made up with things like the buffed precise, divines, and thief mundus.
If anyone is curious, the new Siroria and the old Siroria break even if you are stationary for 42 seconds. Moving more than that, or shorter fights/phases and the new version is better, but for a long fight where you can stay in the circle longer than 42s the old version was better.

It's still usable and most likely BiS for magicka( if they don't change any other spell damage sets ) but not powerful enough to be as annoying as it is.
