Impenetrable trait nerfed again. Why?

What is the reasoning behind nerfing Impen even more to 127? You already nerfed the trait last patch to 172.

They added base critical resistance of 1350 I believe.

Before greymoor you got 1750 crit resist with 7 impen.
Currently in greymoor with 7 impen you get 2550 crit resist.
Next patch you will have about 2200 crit resist with 7 impen.

2550 crit resist made critical damage useless in PVP (especially no cp) so they are bringing the values a little bit closer to pre-greymoor levels.

Yeah I was expecting this to happen, especially since they given everyone 1500 CR for nothing. It will only further increase 810 cps crushing anyone below 500 but we will see. I personally see it was good change and even the changes to Nightblades stealth dmg passive are nice. I open world Solo and these changes are good imo. Soul tethers cast time should be removed though, the DMG morph should have a cast though. Due to VDs buff being the new bombers wet dream.

    However....

Will all the proc sets coming in the new DLC it will be easier for impen to get dropped. As since Greymoor dropped Malacath has been the go to for majority of players in NOcp but it will make a full appearance in open world especially with all these 20k+ dot sets arriving. I expect dots, procs to be a problem next patch, but I think Nightblades should be looking forward to what's to come.

    Stamblade Main.

    1) Impenetrable trait still over valued all other options for armor traits in PvP by a big gap.

2)You could stack way too much crit resist with the base 20%, making crit builds irrelevant.

3)Before Greymoor you could stack 7 traits of 258 which is 1806 crit resist. Now you have 1350 as base + 7 traits of 127 = 2,239 crit resist. So even after the double nerf you can get higher crit resist compared to pre-Greymoor .

This change together with shadow mundus rework are probably the most important changes of the patch when it comes to PvP.
