That's unbuffed, but that's not your base. Are you wearing Medium? Because you have percent modifiers there, too.

    Edit :

You can run this through the calc pretty easily. You can check 'stealthed' to hit the 10% mod. Uncheck that and add the Warrior mundus with 1 Divines piece and that's pretty close (255 vs 258). My fully buffed wDmg of around 7k is only 40 different in favor of the 10%.

I play stealth heavy and I still see this as a buff.

Granted that cloak buff is really only good for one attack and this change will give us a combat buff for sustained fights

Exactly this, you get slight nerf on your first hit, while being buffed for like 60% of the remaining fight. Unless you gank, its straight out buff. And even in ganking this can be compensated for with vamp passive.

But it says the damage buff applies to your damaging attacks meaning you wont het extra healing and all that in cloak. so we lose like 200wd/sd and our heals wont be that good anymore.

Except now your healing will be increased by 10% via Grim focus. Nightblades were buffed both offensively and defensively this update.

but you lose 10 dmg reduction there and heal is for crit heals not for normal ones. overall nerf.

and still we have these *** casttimes, weird skills like aoe siphon, mark, ambush...this is getting boring really.

A 10% buff to critical healing is not even close to a flat 10% healing increase.

This is one of those changes I don't get. ZOS wants to increase performance. Right now, If I am in stealth / invisible, game simple checks that and applies the bonus.

If server will have to check my position vs position of my target EVERY time I attack (use skill / LA) it will actually cause more stress on the server... Not to mention it will be random & unreliable af.

Oh and... Master Assassin passive... 10% vs 258 weapon / spell dmg flat bonus ? That is a substantial nerf imho.

258 is more or less the bonus you have if have 2580 weapon / spell damage. If you have more, then it is a nerf....

So It is safe to say that for pretty much every NB build (gankers / bombers etc) it is quite a strong nerf, since on average you have 3K weapon / spell damage (and possibly more).

They might have a hitbox implementation that can tell the direction from which you got hit. Would be much smarter than checking position of both players and comparing.

If the flanking works like every other source of "flanking" so far, all you have to do is be 45deg from the target, not like you have to be directly behind them in a small 10deg window, you have 270deg to work with here. Literally just strafe as you fight around another player. Half the time in open world it wont matter anyways since it isnt like a sanctioned duel, chances are the receiving player wont even be looking at you until you kill them.

It's not even close mathematically lol.

Suppose you have 100 base healing.

    Base crit heal:
    100 * 1.5 = 150 healing

Crit heal with 10% healing buff:
    (100 * 1.1) * 1.5 = 165 healing

Crit heal with 10% crit healing buff:
    100 * (1.5 + 0.1) = 160 healing

It's 33% worse IF you crit heal. 100% worse if you do not crit heal.
In other words: 10% crit healing buff is equivalent to 6.6% healing buff IF you crit heal 100% of the time.

The Assassin change is defiantly a buff for PVE, but idk about PVP yet. Gonna suck losing that healing in invis.

The grim focus seems like a PVE buff and a PVP nerf (in my own opinion). In PVE you'll get the crit bonus up until the bow proc and I'm assuming the bow proc itself benefits from the 10% crit damage. In execute it's just a flat out increase to damage since you don't use the bow proc anyway in execute.

Personally having the extra mitigation in PVP is worth more to me than 10% crit damage. Unless they really keep those impen nerfs I don't see it being that useful.

This seems to be flying under the radar.

Many of those gankers/bombers will be running 7k+weapon damage fully buffed.
